Lyle Taylor (born March 29, 2038) is an American football safety for the Kansas City Coyotes of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

As a child growing up in England, Lyle Taylor took to the sport of soccer as most young children do and he quickly gained the interest of some of the local youth academies. Taylor bounced around different academies and never found a spot that truly fit his style or coaches that believed in his ability. This never discouraged Taylor but instead made his determination grow even stronger. Taylor kept going to different academies and different programs to try and make a fit work. Coaches would tell him that he should just give up and he doesn't have the ability to play professional sports. Some locations he would only be there a few months and others he managed to stay a season or two. Taylor never gave up but eventually the oppportunites began to run slim. Lyle decided ultimately to try and switch sports and thats when he moved to the United States to play a different version of football.

College career

Lyle Taylor didn't have many options when it came to playing football in college because of his limited time actually playing the sport. However USC was one of the few schools that decided to have him on the team and see what position he would best fit after a summer of practice. The coaches at USC all gave him playing time at many different postions, but ultimately Lyle wanted to play safety. For his first year or so Lyle rarely ever made it off the bench but his drive for the game had him showing up on special teams making a few tackles for loss here and there. The coaches saw this and in his junior decided to let him start some games. This is when Taylor started to seem some improvement and his intellegence for the game was skyrocketing. He was still out of position once or twice but was able to start to read the field which lead to some interceptions and big plays. In to his senior year, Lyle Taylor was flying around the field. The safety coaches at USC helped him blossom in to a really intellegent player. This big year helped Lyle get drafted to the Kansas City Coyetes in the DSFL.
