Jeffrey Phillips (born March 5, 2003) is an American football tight end for the Free Agent of the National Simulation Football League (NSFL). He played college football for Simon Fraser University (SFU) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Jeffery Phillips was born in Vancouver, B.C., he lived in foster care for the majority of his childhood until he was adopted by Laura and John Phillips. When Jeff was 9 years old he had grown to be much taller than his class mates and his parents enrolled him in a local football club. Jeffrey played for the North Vancouver Sea Lions, and quickly became one of their strongest offensive players. His height gave him a strong advantage against peers his age and over time he filled out his tall frame. Over the next few years Jeff played for several local teams and when he started high school at Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary School in Surrey, B.C. he was already one of the best members of the football team at the age of 13. By the age of 15 Phillips was dominating the high school football league and leading the team to several local championships. Jeff was well known as a fan of the NSFL, he would follow all the teams closely and always know the stats of different players. Even at a young age you could ask him anything about the league and he would answer in detail. His favorite team is the Orange County Otters, who were winning championships already when he was very young.

College career

It didn't take long for Jeffrey Phillips to be noticed by the college scouts, despite playing in Canada he had a large number of colleges trying to convince him to enroll and offering scholarships across the United States, but Jeffrey elected to stay close to his adoptive parents and his home in the BC Lowermainland. When the time came to pick a college, Jeffrey followed in his father's footsteps and chose to go to the college he graduated from, Simon Fraser University. It wouldn't be the most illustrious choice for his football career, but Jeffrey wanted to stay close to home. Early on playing college football Jeffrey jumped ahead of many of his classmates dominating the field with his size and strength, but as time went on it became clear that he had always been a big fish in a small pond, the real test for Phillips lies in the DSFL and the big leagues, the NSFL. Jeff has declared for the DSFL draft and is awaiting the S22 draft day where he can hopefully hear his name called and start to make his mark in the leagues where everything matters the most to football fanatics.
