Holden "the Heat" Summers (born October 21st, 2013) is an American football linebacker for the Minnesota Grey Ducks of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). He played college football for University of Minnesota (UMN) before being drafted by the Minnesota Grey Ducks in the 2035 DSFL Draft (S20).

Early years

Holden Summers was born in Sunnydale, California to Joyce and Rupert Summers. Despite his parents' love for children, he was their only child but that didn't seem to matter. Holden Summers knew how to make friends. He was outgoing, kind and a bit of a comedian. He was always socializing and playing football outside with the neighborhood kids in the streets and local parks. As he grew into a teenager, he started to focus more and more on sports. He joined track and field in 8th grade where he specialized in sprints and shot put. In the 9th grade, he returned to his apprecation for football as he tried out for the Sunnydale High junior varsity team. After seeing his speed and strength, the coaching staff gave him a spot on the varsity squad. He played for the Sunnydale football team for four years as a linebacker. Beyond football, his classmates also considered Holden Summers as a class leader. He led school assemblies, volunteered time to after school activities and ran for class president. He lost that election but some believe that votes were mismanaged.

College career

Holden Summers was recruited by the University of Minnesota. Holden was looking to experience more from college and one thing stood out to him regarding Minnesota: the snow. He rarely saw any snow in California and the idea of a white Christmas was something he wasn't ready to pass up. He began classes in the fall of 2030 with a major in sociology but he had already been practicing hard with the Golden Gopher football team. He came to Minnesota for more than the snow. He was here to help his new fotoball team win games. He once said, "I don't think I ever worked harder than that first year at the U. I was there to make a statement and I like to think that I did." Holden Summers made his Gopher debut with 11 tackles and 2 sacks. The fans were in love. He was quickly given the name "Summer Heat" by the fanbase as he always kept the heat on opposing offensive lines. Throughout the rest of his time in college, he would continue to impress his fans, scouts and opposing teams. His name was at the top of many prospect lists and Holden Summers could feel the NSFL and DSFL approaching.
