In the season 41 DSFL Draft Hank Mardukas was selected third overall by the Minnesota Grey Ducks. The Season 41 prospect class consisted of 71 prospects a lot of which showed a lot of promise coming into the new season. Only two players were selected in front of Hank, Justa Ol’Shoe and Rico Suave both of which have since chosen different career paths. Hank joined the ducks as part of their receiving core and slotted in as Tight End #2 for much of the season. Hank provided a consistent third down conversion rate, being utilized generally for short slant routes. The Ducks, though, were not shy about using him as a vertical threat as he trained his speed during the season. Hank ended the season just shy of 600 yards on 51 receptions averaging over 11 yards per carry. Mardukas’ event had a 62 yard touchdown in the Week 13 game against the Minnesota Seawolves, providing a much needed 6 points contributing to the inevitable 31-28 victory keeping the Ducks in playoff contention. Unfortunately, it was not in the cards for the Ducks to make it into the playoffs as the rival London Royals who finished with the same record as the Ducks had two victories over Minnesota in the regular season giving them the tie breaker.

Hank "Yeehaw Hank" Mardukas (born September 7, 2034) is an American football tight end who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks.He played college football for Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Hank Mardukas was born in Vero Beach, FL, to mother Marie Mardukas and father Charles "Chippy" Mardukas. Hank grew up in the rural area of Yeehaw Junction, FL spending much of his childhood running around his parents farm. His parents often site his affinity for football started one Saturday afternoon when Hank was 7, "He just picked up the ball and ran 100 yards" his mom said in a 2052 AJC interview. Hank attended Vero Beach High School and played tight end. Het set the record for most yards by a TE in school history his Junior year and scouts started to notice him. His senior year Hank helped lead the Fighting Indians to state playoffs, only to lose in the second round to Lakewood Ranch High School. Hank received several P5 offers from Georgia Tech, Pitt, Purdue, Vanderbilt and Syracuse. After several visits Hank landed with Georgia Tech in Atlanta, citing a love for the sprawling city and Georgia Tech's academic offerings.

College career

Hank's freshman year at Georgia Tech had him as a second string tight end, but following a season ending injury for starter Brett Minkle, Hank started for 9 games completing 5 TDs and going for 350 yds. The following year Hank was brought up to starter and continued being a consistent threat for the Georgia Tech offense. Hank completed his fourth year at Georgia Tech in the 2054 season, helping carry the team to the Orange Bowl, scoring 9 TDs on the season for 600 yards. His most noteable game came during his Junior year against rival University of Georgia, totaling 2 TDs and 75 yards. During the game Hank received a 15 yard pass and proceeded to run 30 more yards for a touchdown after UGA safety tripped and missed the tackle. In celebration Hank ran to the sideline and put on an oversized cowboy hat, that event coupled with his hometown got him the nickname Yeehaw Hank. Following the end of his senior year Hank declared for the ISFL draft. Hank did complete his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management with a minor in finance.
