Early years
Gus T.T. Showbiz was born in Santa Barbara, California, where he went to Santa Barbara High School. He took an extreme interest in academics, and was often seen with his best friend, Shawn Spencer. The consummate student, Gus went to Pomona College to study pharmaceutical. It was here that his buddy Shawn talked him into starting their side-business together. They started a psychic detective agency called Psych, with Shawn as psychic, and Gus helping out as the knowledge bearer and good looks of the duo.

College career
Gus T.T. Showbiz went to Pomona College, where he focused on his education in pharmaceuticals for most of his collegiate career. In a last-ditch attempt to make a name for himself, he tried out for the football team his senior year and won the starting job as a walk-on. He must've impressed enough, as he was contacted by the DSFL to consider entering the S8 DSFL draft, to which Gus obliged.
