Galf Wilf (born December 23, 2014) is an American football linebacker for the Arizona Outlaws of the National Simulation Football League (NSFL). He played college football for University at Buffalo (UB) before being drafted by the Arizona Outlaws in the 2035 ISFL Draft (S20). Prior to this, he had been drafted by the Portland Pythons in the 2034 DSFL Draft (S19).

Early years

Galf Wilf was born in Newark, New Jersey to parents Rufus and Regina Wilf. Rufus won 2 tickets in a work place lottery to attend the 2018 NSFL Ultimus Game between the Arizona Outlaws and Baltimore Hawks. He brought 4 year old Galf along with him and the game and its atmosphere ignited Galf's love of football. After that experience Galf practically dedicated his life to the game of football even from such a young age. He absolutely dominated his local region in New Jersey for his first 13 years of life and started attracting the eyes of college and DSFL scouts even before he played a varsity high school game. Central Newark High is not known for pumping out football talent but scouts were there to watch Galf for his entire 4 years on the team, in addition to inviting him all over the country for camps for the best high school players in the country. He earned the starting middle linebacker and quarterback jobs as a freshman and did not relinquish them until his graduation. Galf led his school to 4 straight county championships and a state title in his senior year.

College career

Galf Wilf earned himself a handful of scholarship offers to play D-I college football but eventually settled on attending the University at Buffalo. Despite the his dominance and clearly advanced football IQ, his body was still lagging behind. He entered the DSFL and NSFL drafts at 6'5" 255 lbs but he only finished high school at 5'10" 190. There were tons of questions about whether he would be able to handle a heavier work load as a linebacker or quarterback at the next level, but Buffalo was one of the few schools that offered him the chance to try, instead of trying to move him to running back or cornerback. Fortunately for them, Wilf hit a very late growth spurt in the summer after his high school graduation that saw him grow half a foot and add about 20 lbs to his new frame. Wilf played 2 seasons as one of Buffalo's starting linebackers before deciding that the DSFL would be a better use of his time and efforts to make football a paying career for him.
