Fat Jack (born January 5, 2028) is an American football defensive tackle for the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Jamison "Fat" Jack was born in San Jose, CA to parents Gregory and Marsha on May, 25th, 2026. He is the oldest of 5 siblings. Jack started playing football at a young age as an 8-year old and growing up played mostly on the offensive line for his youth teams though also saw some time on the defensive line as well. Early on, playing offensive line, he was known for his ability to pancake defenders and was referred often as Flap Jack due to his last name as well as another name for pancakes. Flap Jack as he was then called, went on to attend Leland High School in San Jose and played football all 4 years. Jamison, always being a larger kid and human, never really had an issue with his weight and some opposing players in high school, knowing he was called Flap Jack, started trying to tease him by calling him "Fat Jack". Using this, Jamison started going by Fat Jack from his Sophomore year in high school and the name always stayed.

College career

Fat Jack was not a heavily recruited player out of high school despite his great size and strength and his speed and motor were questioned throughout the recruiting process. He was a 2-star recruit and had offers from a few schools such as Grand Canyon University, Incarnate Word College, and his eventual choice, Northern Arizona University. Jack redshirted his first year with the team due to an early workout injury that resulted in a Torn Labrum and after trying to work through it and put off surgery, he was inactivated after lingering issues and was sidelined the rest of the way to recover and rehab. His durability would then be brought into question but Jack would then go on to play the next 4 years for the Lumberjacks starting in every game. His redshirt freshman and sophomore seasons, he put up nearly identical numbers posting 58 tackles each season, 11 tackles for a loss, and 7 and 8 sacks respectively. Jack really exploded onto the scene in his Junior and Senior seasons winning all-conference defensive player of the year and finishing with 15 sacks each season. Not known as a pass rusher, Jack was able to overpower the weaker competition in the FCS and make himself a potential DSFL draftee to start his pro career. He would go on to play in the Senior Bowl where he played well in front of pro scouts after being officially declared for the DSFL Draft.
