Dunkler Sowerwine (born August 1, 2038) is an American football defensive end who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for Michigan State University and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Dunkler was born to Jeorg and Jannika Sowerwine, who were members of a commune in rural Minnesota. Dunkler has no idea how many of his "brothers" and "sisters" he is actually related to, as the commune was pretty loose with family ties. His strange and atypical upbringing included copius amounts of manual labor, and sparse opportunities for book learnin. It wasn't until Dunkler's teenage years that he had even heard of football, when a local coach for the highschool football team spied him picking up supplies from a local hardware store. Dunkler's frame and condition made him a prime jewel for any football team. The coach worked out a deal with the commune elders where Dunkler would be "loaned" to the school for football in exchange for the coach's firstborn's "soul". The coach actually did not really read what he was signing, and probably regretted that in the end. Dunkler played both sides of the ball in high school, but appreciated the simplicity of defense. Merely defeat the foe, I mean blocker before you and kill, I mean tackle the ball carrier.

College career

The connection between rural Minnesota and Michigan State is pretty much non-existant. The one thing that did draw Dunkler to East Lansing however, was the legends of an "All Galaxy" defense from the Spartans past. Dunkler leaned on his occult, I mean commune upbringing to draw power from the volume and intensity of disrespect the Spartan team would receive through the media and opposing fans. He helped teach the other defenders how to turn the public's disdain into GAINS in the weight room. Soon, the entire D-line had adopted a menacing persona that went a little beyond the typical D-1 football players. They began experimenting with more and more unique facemasks, trying to intimidate opposing linemen and skill players alike. Dunkler enjoyed the college life so much, he stayed the full 4 years and did not enter the DSFL draft early (Although pundits claimed he could have left after 2 years).
