Early years
"Day was the result of a one night stand. Charlie's mom was never around and he would commonly find himself roaming the streets of Philadephia. This tortued him and lead him to become obsessed with kicking. Day would freqeuntly run from cops after busting windows or causing ruckus by kicking rocks and cans at people. The cops eventually made him start kicking footballs so he wouldn't break windows. Day likes to credit the cops with his success in the football league. Without the right guidance, he says me may have ended up working at some random bar and sniffing glue. "
College career
Day went into college with a bang. As a freshmen, he won the starting postion halfway through the season after the starting kicker lost his leg in a boating accident. Day ended his freshmen season 10 of 12 on field goals and 10 for 10 on extra points. The rest of his college career was quite succesful for Day going 28 of 35 on field goal atempts. Day even became a promient piece of the game when he ran two succesful fake kick passes in back to back games helping lead his team to victory both times. Day went 5 for 9 on passing attempts for a total of 13 yards in his four years.
