Chad "The Mauler" Maulolo (born January 7, 1999) is an American football defensive end for the Palm Beach Solar Bears of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). He played college football for University of Montanta (UM).

Early years

Chad was raised nestled in the Rocky Mountains of Absarokee, MT. Absarokee was a football town. With a population of 1000 people his highschool was only class C. This meant they played 8 man football. This also meant that he played iron man football his entire career at Absarokee High. His senior year the school moved up to Class B (301 students). This meant they played 11 man football. Throughout his highschool career he played offensive line and defensive line. He specialized in playing DE. He ended his highschool career with 40 sacks, 2 of them for safeties.

College career

After graduation Chad moved to Missoula to live with his grandmother and he attended the Univserity of Montana. The Grizzlies or "Griz" became his home for the next 4 years. He was a true freshman in 2015. His first year he came in pretty green still. He didn't play any games until the 5th game of the season, as his footwork was inadequate coming into college. Even at a disadvantage in his 1st game of the year it was obvious his strength would help him over compensate for sloppy feet. Coach Gipsen worked with him over and over. By the end of the season he could really begin to see some improvement. Chad scored the game winning sack in the last game of the year. In the next 3 subsequent years Chad would go on to become a technician. He worked day and night tirelessly, obsesively, to get better. Chad increased his sack rate each year. [1, 4, 7, 17] This all culminated in him having a banner year of 17 sacks and helping his team to the pinnacle of football in the Big Sky Conference. The National Championship Game. The Griz lost to Villanova in 2018. Chads focus now is his transition into a professional career in the DSFL and then hopefully the NSFL.
