Season 33 was the first of the young Carter Knight's career. Carter Knight was coming into the ISFL after a fairly disappointing DSFL career in Kansas City, winning no awards at all as Savage and Sailor battled it out for QBOTY. Unfortunately, season 33 would appear to be much of the same, as Carter Knight had a good, but not great season, putting forth a 25 touchdown, 13 interception season, along with 4500 yards. However, there is a very positive think to take away from this season, and that is the fact that Carter Knight is a winner. The Sailfish finished as the #1 team in the league, with a 12-4 record. While they would eventually lose to the Ultimus Winning Hawks in the conference championship, being able to go 12-4 with a rookie QB is impressive, and shows that Carter Knight excels at playing under pressure intense moments. Knight would make no pro bowls and win no awards this season, but this was a sign of things to come for the young QB.

Carter Knight (born November 27, 2026) is an American football quarterback who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for University of Georgia (UGA) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Carter Knight was born to a loving family in the suburban area of Sarasota Florida. While Sarasota schools are definitely not known for their football program, from a young age Carter made it his goal to bring football to Sarasota schools. Carter's father was a professional player for the CFL, which while being much less known than the ISFL big leagues, still made him a very talented football player. His mother however, was apart of the other football, competing in the U.S Olympics as a soccer player. This said, it was obvious that Carter had a bright future of sports ahead of him. Carter spent his early years idolizing football, but couldn't quite put a finger on which team to root for. That was until an expansion team was announced in his own home town when he was 11. Carter was ecstatic, and from the moment this was announced, Carter made it his goal to play for Sarasota one day. Thus, he asked his dad to teach him how to play, and off they went to work. Carter's practice with his dad was very successful, and this allowed for him to be the starting QB of Sarasota High as just a freshman! While it took a bit to get the seniors on his side, once they saw his raw passing talent, they quickly believed in him. Carter would go through High School very successful, winning his county's MVP trophy in his Junior and Senior season, as well as taking his team to state twice. Although they only won once, this put Sarasota High on the map, and the city idolizes him because of it. Sarasota Sailfish scouts were certainly interested in this homegrown prospect.

College career

Carter Knight entered the recruiting process as a 5 star prospect, and was considered the 2nd best prospect of his class. He had several offers to big name schools, but ultimately decided upon going to Georgia, as UF and FSU already had their QBs locked up. Carter did not play at all his freshman year, but in his sophomore year, Carter hit the ground running, amassing a Second team all SEC nomination, after he threw for 3400 yards, as well as 23 TDs. It was a great start to what would turn into a very solid collegiate career. Carter continued to improve his sophomore season, this time finally securing his first team nod, and led his team to the national playoffs, where they would lose in the first round. Carter's senior season was easily his best, and while he only got 4th in the Heisman voting, he led his team to a national championship, and was once again first team SEC. Knight threw for 4000 yards, with an incredible 37-6 TD-INT ratio. He also added 5 TDs on the ground, as well as 300 rushing yards. This obviously got both ISFL and DSFL scouts excited, however scouts were also looking at Malcolm Savage and Wendell Sailor, who both impressed in measurables. Only time will tell how these 3's careers end up, and we'll see which teams make the right decisions come draft day.
