Parameters
Parameter | Explanation |
---|---|
year | Place the year of the draft. Example 1999. This value also determines the links at the bottom of the table to the previous and next year's drafts. These links will only appear if the page exists. |
name | Use only if you want to override the default Infobox title ("YYYY NFL draft"). This parameter is optional and should only be used in rare circumstances when this Infobox is used on pages that don't fit the normal naming structure of the NFL draft series (e.g. 1984 NFL supplemental draft of USFL and CFL players) |
image | Place an image that represents the NFL draft of the given year or any new image that has to do with the current season and/or NFL. |
imagesize | Place the size of image you would like to show in pixels. Example ###px. If no value is specified, the default of 180px will be used. |
caption | Place caption here that will show below the image given. |
date(s) | Place the event date(s) here. |
time(s) | Place the event time(s) here. Optional |
location | Place the location of the event here. |
network(s) | Place the broadcasting network of the event here. Optional |
first | Place the first overall pick's name here, position and team drafted. Example: John Doe, QB New York Jets |
mr_irrelevant | Place the last pick player's name here, position and team drafted. The same way as on first. (This field appears only if the mr_irrelevant parameter is not blank). NOTE: the text description will appear as "Last selection:" and link to "List of last overall National Football League draft picks" for pre-1976 drafts, and as a link to "Mr. Irrelevant" for drafts since 1976. |
mostnum | Number of selections by the team(s) which exercised the most selections in the draft |
mosttm1 – mosttm6 | Name of team(s) with the most selections. Team name should not be wikilinked. For multiple teams, use mosttm2 through mosttm6 (as many as necessary). |
mostalt | Alternative description besides list of team names (mosttm1 – mosttm6). Should be used when more than six teams have the most selections or where an alternative description is otherwise desired. |
fewnum | Number of selections by the team(s) which exercised the fewest selections in the draft |
fewtm1 – fewtm6 | Name of team(s) with the fewest selections. Team name should not be wikilinked. For multiple teams, use fewtm2 through fewtm6 (as many as necessary). |
fewalt | Alternative description besides list of team names (fewtm1 – fewtm6). Should be used when more than six teams have the fewest selections or where an alternative description is otherwise desired. |
overall | Place here the number of picks made. Example: 252 |
rounds | Place here the number of rounds in the draft here. Example: 7 |
hofnum | Number of players selected in this draft who have been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. This number should not include undrafted players from this year. |
alternatenav | Use only if you want to override the default navigation at the bottom of the Infobox. This parameter is optional and should only be used in rare circumstances when this Infobox is used on pages that don't fit the normal naming structure of the NFL draft series (e.g. 1984 NFL supplemental draft of USFL and CFL players, or 1967 NFL/AFL draft) |
