Early years
Troy Abed was born in Riverside, Colorado where he went to Riverside High. Due to his father being a big football fanatic, Troy was introduced to throwing a one foot long egg at a young age. It quickly became apparent what a talent was now attending Riverside High, which surrounded him with a lot of attention. However, as Abed later admitted, he didn't like the sport the way his father did and sabotaged himself. Instead of living up to his expectations and attending a D1 college to secure a spot in the ISFL, other things like dancing interested him more. Due to the high pressure he felt, he dislocated both shoulders the night before the big high school state final. As a result, Abed lost all of his scholarships and decided to attend Greendale Community College.
College career
His time at Greendale Community College started off relatively quiet at first and he didn't stand out much. At various parties he danced and rapped under the name "The Disko Spider", but could not achieve his breakthrough. It is speculated that the Spanish he rapped in was not really fluent and he learned it from an unqualified professor. Later, he was discovered for his manual skills, which led him to get his degree in Air Conditioning Repair. Shortly before the end of his regular college days, GCC's quarterback was injured and Abed was asked to fill in because of his experience. He played out the rest of the season and captured GCC's first championship. It rekindled the fire in him and he attended the tryout of an unknown minor league team (New England Patriots). However, he was clearly better than the quarterback who had been there for 20 years, so he decided to enter the S27 DSFL draft.

After Troy Abed won an exciting championship game for GCC, he entered the S27 Draft on short notice. At first he didn't even think about going pro, but a friend of his got in touch with several scouts via the internet. After many exciting conversations with the representatives of various DSFL teams, he was selected in the fourth round by the Kansas City Coyotes. He was quickly accepted into the team and joined a new but outstanding offense. KCC also drafted a top defense which prepared the team for a promising season.
