Wynn Jenkins (born March 3, 2034) is an American football kicker who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for Arizona State (ASU) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.
Early years
"Wynn Jenkins was born in Dwygyfylchi (Conwy, Wales), to humble parents. His father, Robert Jenkins, had an unsuccessful career in the Welsh Premier League. Hampered by injuries, Wynn's father was forced to retire from the game early.
Forever bitter, he had hoped his son would succeed where he couldn't. However, Wynn found the English version of football boring, and took an interest in the ISFL as an early teen. He quickly identified kicking and punting as a position he believed he could fulfill.
Due to the lack of funds needed to make his dream a reality, Wynn is older than most college graduates due to taking up a full-time position at his local sporting goods store whilst training on rugby pitches late into the nights instead of heading straight to America.
All the hard work paid off for Wynn as he left Wales for the United States and studied at Arizona State University.
He maintains a good relationship with his parents."
College career
"During college, Jenkins got minimal game time during his freshman year and struggled with the lifestyle changes and isolation of living in a new country.
At risk of being replaced, he showed his determination and commitment to the cause by hitting the weights and coming back the following year stronger both mentally and physically.
He spent the first half of his second year as the punter, which although still an underrated and very influential role on a football team, Wynn wanted to be the man in the moment; clutch time opportunist. He got his chance to prove himself by dropping consistent balls down inside the 20 forcing coaches to take note of Jenkins' accuracy along with his strength.
Wynn Jenkins became close friends with his college holder, and closed out college with great praise and expectations, for his personality and charisma in the locker room, but also for his reliability on game-winning field goals throughout his final season."
