Shakir Hodges-Allen (born October 12, 2045) is an American football wide receiver who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for Hocking College (HC) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Shakir Hodges-Allen was born and raised in the realms of Indiana for all his life into the family of his father, Horace Allen, and his mother Aria Hodges. The name Hodges-Allen comes from the combination of both his parents both last names as they decided to put both of their names together once they eloped a year or so before Shakir was born.

Being raised with his parents and his siblings, Shakir Hodges-Allen was raised on the levels of football for essentially all of his life now. Working really hard with his parents, his coaches and his role-models, Hodges-Allen boomed onto the scene quickly that resulted in becoming a high-rated prospect that essentially seemed to have the world completely in the palms of his hands.

Hodges-Allen attended R Snider High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana and was slotted as a Wide Receiver on the Varsity team as a freshman. The esteemed coach of the program was none other than former D1 Alabama player, Juwan Adams, who was taking over a dominant roster. The Snider High School football program has dominated for decades and only has recorded three losing seasons in the last 30 seasons.

Shakir had amazing Freshman and Sophomore seasons with the team that saw his stock as a prospect even continue to rise. By his Junior season, Shakir was rated as a 4-star prospect with all kinds of offers that an individual could dream of: Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Oregon, etc.

However, on August 21st going into his Senior Season, Hodges-Allen was arrested on charges of marijuana possession. Possession with intent to distribute also was a possible charge, but nothing was formally given. With a bail from his coach in the later days, Hodges-Allen was suspended 3 games on the season, which created an uproar of frustration amongst fans amongst the community of Ft. Wayne, along with those who care deeply about the sport of football. R Snider went on to finish the season with another positive record, but failed to win their conference championship and were bounced in the semi-final.

Shakir was able to obtain one season playing at Hocking College, a JUCO Community College, in which he appeared in 5 games and recorded 35 receptions for 233 yards.

College career

Shakir Hodges-Allen was unable to be signed to a roster in the collegiate level because of the advances of his controversy and reports of his behavior as a player on a team, immediately losing his high-valued scholarships that he possessed. Hodges-Allen became dubbed as a "Locker Room Cancer" in reported articles via IndySports, but nothing theoretically has been concrete proven at this time.

After sitting out for one whole year, Hodges-Allen was able to sign with a JUCO program Community College in Hocking College. The college, found in Ohio, was a remote location to where his home was in Ft. Wayne, and made the decision relatively easier, per sources. Playing in a small level environment as someone who used to be deemed as a big-time hot-shot player, the pressure became fully on his shoulders to produce to the level that was expected of him. However, this didn't really happen to be the case. Hodges-Allen only appeared in mere games in the one season, only receiving for 233 yards on the season on 35 catches.

Professional career

DSFL career

While Shakir's career has yet to fully start yet in terms of him being drafted by a DSFL Team within the draft, Hodges-Allen has been able to comfortably say that he has played as the DSFL level. Playing a brief stint for the Minnesota Grey Ducks in S51, Shakir was able to place himself into a secondary receiver role that netted positive results and even a clenched playoff number one spot with the organization. The season ended in an unfortunate loss that removed Shakir from the Grey Ducks organization as he further prepares for the DSFL draft to happen, he has been able to claim a 4 game sample size that showcased 2 receiving touchdowns and 109 reception yards, an amazing season for the individual so far. Now being eligible and also entered into the draft, the full thing rides on his potential and waiting on where he will find himself next.

Obviously with being a completely new prospect in the eyes of the ISFL, Shakir has yet to be drafted by a team and has yet to play any snaps within the league. With high level possibilities of being a big-time player in the DSFL, there is no realm where Hodges-Allen cannot be a sufficient and immediate impact player in the next couple of seasons for playing on a major-league team, but that is still for the future in his career. Showcasing his levels in the Prospect Bowl and other various things, including interviews and press conferences, Hodges-Allen seems to have adopted a new personality that looks different than the ones that have been known to his audience in previous years. Having his speedy and good hands, Shakir should be expected to be a high-quality slot receiver if his progression continues to trend at the direction that it currently has. In recent interviews, his personal trainer has stated that the sky is the limit.
