Early years
On November 17, 1989, Sconnie McKicks was born to parents Georgia and Kentucky (Tuck) McKicks in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a family of humble means, the McKicks (and Sconnie, in particular) derived pleasure from the simple things in life: namely kicking random objects and eating McDonalds McNuggets. As a 10 year old, Sconnie won his state's Punt, Pass, and Kick competition (sponsored by McDonalds), even though he refused to compete in the Pass portion. This aligned with Sconnie's childhood motto: "Quarterback are overrated. Bart Starr, Johnny Unitas, Joe Montana, Tom Brady...they are bums. Kickers and punters are the true team leaders. I want to be like Ray Guy, Sebastian Janikowski, Morten Anderson, and Adam Vinatieri." McKicks starred at Ozaukee High School in Fredonia, Wisconsin, where he was the Gatorade Player of the Year in Boy's Soccer and set state season and career records in football (FG made, points scored) and soccer (goals, assists).
College career
A four-year starter and captain for the Badgers, McKicks led the Big Ten in field goals made and field goal percentage in each of his four seasons in Madison. Sconnie was especially instrumental in his senior season, leading Wisconsin to their first national championship since 1942 in a 27-24 win over Alabama. During that season, McKicks was a perfect 69/69 in field goal attempts, earning him national acclaim and following, along with the fitting nickname of "ShoeNice". Former YouTube sensation ShoeNice, known for his video in which he consumed large quantities of beverages (notably vodka), was said to be flattered and honored when #ShoeNice began trending on Twitter and he was able to experience a brief surge in viewership on his videos. Sconnie McKicks also became the first kicker to win the Heisman Trophy in 2021, leading to a meteoric rise in the popularity of the position throughout youth football and revolutionizing the position itself.

Professional Career (2048)
2048 marked the rookie season for McHits, as he was called up to the Colorado Yeti for the first time. Surrounded by generational talents Melvin Murder-Moose and Rusty Rucker, McHits filled the Middle Linebacker role, allowing those two to rush off the edge, get to opposing quarterbacks, and cause havoc. The biggest highlight of the season was in the Yeti's Week 3 matchup with the Philadelphia Liberty, when McHits recorded his first two career sacks against friend and rival, Philadelphia Quarterback Ryan Negs. Other noteworthy performances included a nine tackle performance in Week 6 against the Chicago Butchers and a forced fumble and fumble recovery in Week 5 against the Berlin Fire Salamanders. On a team front, the Yeti narrowly missed the playoffs with a 9-7 record. While not a huge statistical season overall, McHits had a solid start to his professional career, and looks to make a big splash next season as an Outside Linebacker with some experience to boot.
