Early years
Sem'ga Nah'sim was born in the massive Pakistani city of Multan. Seeing as how football isn't very popular in Pakistan, Sem'ga didn't grow up playing the sport. While growing up, his favorite sport to play was rugby, a much more popular sport in his country. He didn't learn what football was until he was 16 years old, when he watched the Superbowl. It captivated him almost immediately. He struggled to find a place that he could play near his hometown, but to no avail. He decided that he would keep playing rugby and bide his time. As he grew and his body matured, he started to attract some attention for his rugby skills. He figured if he could get good enough at rugby, he could leverage that into maybe getting a try out with a European football league, or one of the smaller football leagues in America. Or maybe if he was good enough, the ISFL.
College career
His planned path to the ISFL was cut short, but in a good way. Surprisingly, an American football college scout was traveling in Multan, Pakistan. Not on a scouting trip, just for fun. That scout was from a college named the University of Kansas. The scout decided to soak in the culture and watch a local rugby match, and that's where he saw the star of the home team, Sem'ga Nah'sim. He offered Sem'ga a scholarship, which seems ill advised, but hey, it's the University of Kansas. The coaches had no clue where they should play a Pakistani rugby player, so they tried him at a few different positions. They settled in on linebacker because he was truly built different. He could really lay the wood. He didn't play much his first season, but filling in for an injured teammate in year two, he started to catch the eye of NFL scouts.
