Early years
Frost attended Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. During his career, he had 121 receptions for 2,223 yards and 34 touchdowns, as well as 37 returns for 888 yards and 8 touchdowns. After initially committing to the University of Illinois, Frost committed to Louisiana State University (LSU) to play college football. Frost had offers from Alabama, Notre Dame, Kansas and NC State.
College career
As a true freshman in 2049, Frost appeared in only 5 games at runningback and returned two touchdowns as a punt and kick returner, Frost led the country in return touchdowns and return yards with 593 return yards and 2 return touchdowns.
During his sophomore season in 2050, Frost was one of the best return men in the country. 593 return yards and 2 return touchdowns (1 kick return and 1 punt return). Frost only played 7 out of the 11 games at runningback, sitting out for the first 4 games to learn the new playbook. Frost also ended the season with a ankle injury, but it wouldn't require any repairs as it was just a sprain.
As a junior in 2051, Frost led the country with 3 return touchdowns and 632 return yards. His 23 rushing touchdowns were ranked third most. Frost and LSU would make it to the College Football Playoff National Championship, where Frost would have 10 attempts for 144 yards and 2 touchdowns. LSU came up short, losing to Alabama 56–45. On Febuary 18, 2051, Frost announced that he would forgo his senior season and enter the 2052 DSFL Draft.[2]
After his final season for LSU, Frost was given his nickname, "Jitterbug", because he would bounce off tackles and be very patient during punt and kick returns.
During his time at LSU, Frost became the thirteenth Unanimous All-American and first Jet Award winner in school history. He would also be the first to win the award twice.
After returning 5 punts for touchdowns, Frost passed Skyler Green for most punt return touchdowns in LSU history.[3] Frost also set the record for most return yards in a career with 1,786. Frost also broke the single-season punt return record with 3 punts returned in his junior season.[4]
