At the DFSL/NSFL level Lo Rax projected to a DE/SLB position, and after dropping to 280 pounds, he fit the bill physically.  Taken in the 3rd round with the 11th overall pick by the Kansas City Coyotes, Rax slotted in at a position of need for one of the top teams in the developmental league. As many young players, Lo started with a minor role, with his responsibities growing until he became a full time starter.
