Early years
Henry "Hank" McCoy was born in Dundee, Illinois, to parents Norton and Edna. His father was exposed to radiation at the power plant he worked in (pre Hank's birth). While this caused no apparent effect on Norton, his son Hank was born a few years later with abnormally large feet and hands. Hank also had an unusual for his age speed, strength and agility, which led to him eventually trying out for his high school football team. Hank was teased by most kids and thought that if he could be a "jock" he'd fit in. He was an immediate star, dominating kids two and three years older then him. He went on to break many records, most notably the yards rushed and rushing touchdown records. Hank was recruited by Professer Charles Xavier to lead the athletic program at his Xavier University, and also defeat some evil villains on the side.
College career
Hank had an immediate impact at the college level, being that he was a mutant and all that. His team was literally full of people who had superpowers, so of course they won a lot (read- every) game. Due to his actual experience playing football, he was looked at as a leader and teacher of the game to his fellow teammates. Despite the protests from the regular human schools, the Xavier team was allowed to play because their school founder could literally control the minds of the people making the decisions! This was his way to make his students feel "normal". Hank went on to average between 30 and 35 touchdowns a season, and over 2500 yards per year.
