Martavius Spencer (born June 18, 2040) is an American football defensive end for the London Royals of the National Simulation Football League ().

Early years

"Martavius Spencer was born in football crazed Mobile, Alabama to parents Len Spencer and Barb Spencer who were both heavily involved in football within their community. From a young age Martavius was a standout in numerous local team sports including basketball, baseball and soccer but it didn't take long for him to realize that football was his true passion. With his parents support Martavius went on to rise to national attention in during his high football career amassing well over a dozen state records on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball playing as a two way player for the Mobile Horned Frogs starting at defensive end and running back for the school which went on to win 3 straight state titles.

Outside of football Martavius was heavily involved in volunteer work within the community growing up and as noted in a Mobile Times article one of Martavius' proudest accomplishments was assisting in building over one hundred homes for the less fortunate within Alabama during his time in high school.

Scholastically Martavius finished high school with recognized honours being selected to the schools Honour Roll and finishing with an overall grade average of 96% throughout all of his classes. Martavius credits this success to his mother, Barb, who was a high school teacher whom he greatly admired."

College career

"Due to his grandiose success during his high school career Martavius garnered significant interest from major college programs from around the country notably schools such as Oregon, Georgia and Clemson but ultimately settled on his home state Alabama Crimson Tide during a highly watched television special much to the excitement of his friends, family and fans of the Crimson Tide.

Upon joining the team Martavius immediately stood out and after the teams spring game during Martavius' freshman year head coach Nick Saban was quoted as saying, ""I'll tell you right now, Spencer might be one of the best freshman prospects I've seen in all my years as a coach"". Although used sparingly his freshman season Martavius made an impact during the National Championship game that season racking up 2 sacks and a forced fumble en route to his first National Championship with the Tide.

During his sophmore and junior seasons Martavius was inserted as a full time starter along a Crimson Tide defensive line that helped set records as being one of the most dominant defences in NCAA history while once again winning National Championships in both of those seasons. At the conclusion of his Junior season Martavius declared his intentions to join the DSFL draft with aspirations of one day making the leap to the ISFL. "

DSFL Career

Season 48 After controversially deciding to enter the season 49 ISFL draft instead of waiting a year for the season 50 ISFL draft which would be the logical thing to do Spencer was picked up off of waivers by the London Royals as a defensive end which was his natural position. The Royals coaching staff immediately became infatuated by Spencer's natural all around athletic ability and decided to test his abilities by moving him from the defensive line to the secondary as a safety. Although this type of move would be impossible for most Spencer made the most of his opportunity and quickly dazzled putting up 6 tackles and locking down receivers n his very limited game time. Although Spencer initially garnered minimal draft buzz he very quickly showed how his dominant abilities were capable of translating from college to the pros and before long he began garnering significant scouting interest which he credits to a media post he made claiming he will be the biggest steal in the draft.
