He was the biggest recruit in the programs history, and dealing with those expectations sometimes proved challenging for Uncertain. Many in the media said he went to a G5 school (I'm praying we're p5 by 2056😭) as a cover up for him not being as good as many claim. But he put those expectations to rest by not allowing a single touchdown in the 2 years he stayed at Memphis. He didn't have many INTs, but that was because opposing QBs didn't throw to him. He had a staggering 97.4 coverage grade, which was 1st in the nation by a huge margin, ultimately leading the Tigers to an undefeated season in the AAC, and ultimately a CFB Playoff Birth in the newly implemented 16 team format, before being eliminated by Clemson in the 2nd round. Uncertain plans on putting any lingering doubts about his 2 seasons at Memphis being a fluke, to rest for the Norfolk Seawolves.
