Brooks will entre the ISFL in Season 42 as a member of the Colorado Yeti. Shortly after being drafted in the middle of the 4th round to the New Orleans Second Line, Brooks was traded within 24 hours of the draft to the Colorado Yeti, where he will find his new home for atleast the beginning of his ISFL career. This trade was a shock to many as Brooks was the 2nd overall RB in the draft, and New Orleans was in need of depth at the position. Regardless, this is another notch on Brooks' belt, and will take this as a chip on his sholder entering Season 42. Coming off a DSFL Offensive Player of the Year campaign (S41), Brooks is looking to take the ISFL by storm, and has all intentions on bringing the Rookie of the Year trophy home at seasons end. Brooks' introductory press conference in Colordo ended with the statement- "Just watch, the storm is coming." | Brooks will entre the ISFL in Season 42 as a member of the Colorado Yeti. + | '''Season 42:''' Brooks made his inaugural debut for the Colorado Yeti during the start of the S42 season. While Brooks still has a long way to go to compete at the highest level, he held his own and fell just short of rookie of the year nominations after a very strong start to his first season. While the Yeti had a disappointing 6-10 season, there were many bright spots to take for future growth- there’s always an opportunity to improve. Brooks completed the S42 season with 1,006 rushing yards on 230 attempts and 12 touchdowns as well as 568 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns, a grand total of 1,574 all-purpose yards and 15 touchdowns. Brooks will take both the highs and lows of this season and continue to build to get better and better as he continues to grow within the league. While it is still early for the young running back, expect him to come back stronger next year and keep pushing for more accolades across the league.

+ | '''Season 43:''' Malik started season 43 with the Colorado Yeti and started off with a bang. The team was gelling nicely on and off the field and were playing relatively well in the big scheme of things. Brooks was the lead back for the Yeti, and started off the season strong. Prior to the trade deadline, Brooks was shipped off to the Cape Town Crash, where they envisioned him as working on transitioning to playing primarily a receiver role. Although Brooks was happy with his tenure in Colorado, the team was displeased that he hoped to hold contract negotiations until the offseason, and unforinately, that lead to his departure from the organization. Brooks wishes his former teammates and front office nothing but the best, but is excited for the season to come. Brooks will continue to work in the offseason as a wide receiver in hopes to make an impact in the arial attack of the offense.

Season 40: After having joined the league late, Brooks was picked up on waivers by the Bondi Beach Buccaneers, which proved to be a great fit for the services he was able to bring to the table. Through this season, while BBB is a pass first offense, Brooks was still able to be an offensive factor and get involved in games to help the team win in any capacity. Through this season, Brooks placed in the top 4 in total rushing yards, top 3 in total yards per rush (compared to players with over 100 rushing attempts), top 10 in total rushing touchdowns, and most impressively, held all of these stats while having 100-130 less total attempts than the top running backs within the DSFL. Through his contributions, Bondi Beach Buccaneers won the DSFL Championship (the Ultimini) during this season. Brooks is excited to bring his talents back to Bondi Beach for one more season before going pro, and in a most recent interview, Brooks was quoted saying… ‘LETS RUN IT BACK BABY!’
Season 41: Brooks returned to Bondi Beach in 2056 as the lead running back in what promised to be a strong offensive season as the team would be focusing more on the run, rather than the pass. With the added familiarity of the offense, Brooks was excited to start the next season and ready to do his all to bring the Ultimini back to Bondi Beach. Throughout the 2056 season, Brooks was a staple on offense, amassing 1,212 rushing yards on 249 attempts (4.9 YPC) and 12 rushing touchdowns as well as 19 receptions for 144 yards. Overall, a prime offensive season for the second year player, unforinately, Bondi Beach came up a bit short, ending the 2056 campaign with a 6-8 record. Regardless, as a call up to the ISFL is coming shortly, Brooks is looking back on his time with Bondi Beach as a positive experience. He has gained many new skills, grew stronger within his position, and has earned many new life long friends he also happens to call teammates.
