Sean Robinson was raised by Jason and Samantha Robinson in San Diego, California. His parents were somewhat young when he was born but he was raised well and his parents had a healthy relationship for his entire childhood. Sean went to the beach a lot as a kid and had lots of fun throwing the football around on the beach. Sean was the popular football kid growing up in San Diego and made it look easy when he was at school. He played tackle football starting at 10 years old and continued to until it was time for high school ball. They moved to Mission Viejo, California for Sean's high school. He was ranked the 4th best WR after his first 2 year playing ball. He hauled in the most TDs on his team and led the state in receiving yards. The next two years were even better making Robinson the 3rd best WR prospect heading into College. He did all 4 years at MVHS then moved back down to his hometown of San Diego to play college ball at SDSU

Sean was drafted by the Norfolk Seawolves in the DSFL and would start at WR that season. He put up big time numbers in his first two weeks having 4 touchdowns through just 2 games. He then fell off a bit and would only get 1 rec in the next 4 games. Sean’s season was looking like a bust with how many targets he was getting until around Week 10 where he saw a lot more action. He had 112 yards on 5 catches against the Lomdon Royals and it only got better from there. He would break out for a game winning 44 yard touchdown against the Minnesota Grey Ducks in week 13. He then took over as the Seawolves WR1 and had the most receiving yards on the team in week 14 against the Pythons with 82 receiving yards. He played a great conference championship game once again leading the Norfolk receiving core.

Robinson was drafted to the New York Silverbacks with the 34th pick in the S41 ISFL Draft. Sean was immediately brought up to the ISFL to be the Silverbacks WR3. He knew this wouldn’t give him many opportunities to make big plays but knew this would be a valuable season to learn what the ISFL was like. The first few weeks of the season didn’t go great for Sean. He managed only a few catches through the first few weeks. Although, things would pick up around mid season. He had his first ISFL touchdown and a 70 yard game later that season. Things would then slow down a bit as the season ended and he wasn’t being used as much. As a rookie, he had to expect this and deal with it. The Silverbacks would miss the playoffs on an unlucky overall season. They had talent at every position but things didn’t seem to go their way in the games. This team will keep getting better as it brung in lots of talent in the S41 ISFL draft.

The second ISFL season in Robinson’s career by far exceeded expectations. His season got off to a slow start and he wasn’t being featured much in the offense. Although, as the season went on, the Silverbacks coaching leaned toward Robinson to deliver. They gave him more opportunities starting late in the season and he made sure to take advantage of these opportunities. He notched his career long for receiving yards on one play on a 75 yard TD catch against San Jose in Week 13. He also put up a career high 143 yards against SJS that game marking a career high in yards in a game. Over the next 3 games, Sean reached over 100 yards receiving twice and Blaine Falco (QB) was gaining more and more trust in him. The Silverbacks were knocked out of the playoffs in the wildcard after a magical 11-5 season led by their sophomore QB. NYS should come back better than ever next season in their quest for an Ultimus.

Robinson entered his 3rd season with the Silverbacks with hopes to improve on his breakout year 2. The Silverbacks got off to a scorching hot start of 5-0. Meanwhile, Robinson was averaging around 50 yards a game. The Silverbacks would drop their next two games, going 5-2, but would then win their next 9 to finish the season 14-2, the best record in the ISFL. Robinson didn’t exactly light up defenses with 100 yard outbursts, but he did provide a very nice target for Blaine Falco. If you watched Sean Robinson from last year and compared him to this year, you would think he had a better season last year. 3 100 yard games in S42 compared to none in S43. But, S43 was actually the more productive season for Robinson. He averaged more yards per game in S43 and totaled 893 yards, which is 43 more than in S42. He also added one more touchdown totaling 8. The Silverbacks got the bye and didn’t have to play in the wild card. Arizona beat Honolulu and this meant NYS would be hosting AZ in the ASFC conference championship. It was a tight game the whole time but the Silverbacks managed to pull out a 20-13 win and head to their first Ultimus since S32. Ultimus day rolled around and NYS was eager for a win. The game unfortunately did not go as they had hoped and the Silverbacks fell to the Hawks 16-10. On a better note, Sean Robinson led the way for the Silverbacks offense. He supplied 99 yards, a touchdown, and 10 catches on 13 targets. Falco leaned to Robinson to produce and he did, but the turnovers were costly for NYS and they weren’t able to pull out the win. New York will look to build off this Ultimus run and finish the job in S44.

Sean Robinson headed into his 4th season with NYS with high hopes for this season. He would continue to serve as the Silverbacks WR3 until Mandrews McHollywood and Matthew Mara got too old. As WR3, many did not expect Robinson to produce much until he has a bigger role in the offense. Well, he proved everyone wrong. Robinson got off to an absolutely scorching hot start to the season, at one point posting 5 straight 100 yard games. Robinson was near the top of the receiving stats leaderboard through 7 weeks. He did cool off as the season got old, but Robinson managed his first career 1000 yard season, a milestone he won’t ever forget. The Silverbacks finished the season at 11-5, good enough for a playoff berth. NYS just barely was able to knock down Austin, and moved on to the CC game. It was close throughout, but NYS managed a late game drive to tie the game. Honolulu was unable to make anything out of their next drive, so it was NYS’ ball with under a minute left on their own 20. They decided to throw it, Falco fumbled, Honolulu recovered, Honolulu kicks FG to win game. An unfortunate turn of events for the Silverbacks in a game that should have went to OT. Robinson will likely have a bigger role on the NYS offense in S45 as McHollywood and Mara start to regress. As for the Silverbacks, their Ultimus window may be over, but only time will tell.

Early years

Sean Robinson was raised by Jason and Samantha Robinson in San Diego, California. His parents were somewhat young when he was born but he was raised well and his parents had a healthy relationship for his entire childhood. Sean went to the beach a lot as a kid and had lots of fun throwing the football around on the beach. Sean was the popular football kid growing up in San Diego and made it look easy when he was at school. He played tackle football starting at 10 years old and continued to until it was time for high school ball. They moved to Mission Viejo, California for Sean's high school. He was ranked the 4th best WR after his first 2 year playing ball. He hauled in the most TDs on his team and led the state in receiving yards. College career

Sean arrived at SDSU and was immediately made a starter. SDSU had some bad seasons recently mostly because of their offense playing poorly. They knew Sean Robinson arriving would change those things. And they did. He led the team in catches, yards, and TDs. This got many scouts from the DSFL heading down to San Diego to see who this kid was. SDSU was ranked 17th in the country after the season concluded. They also easily won the Mountain West Championship. Robinson's sophomore year was even better putting up numbers that had him near the top of yards and TD leaderboards for receivers. People started to realize who he was and soon announced he would be entering the DSFL draft. He was picked with the 47th pick by the Norfolk Seawolves who were in great need of WR's. Sean was thrilled by this pick. He was watching from home when the pick happened with his fiancé and parents. They were all so proud of him for getting this far and couldn't wait to see what he can do in the DSFL and eventually the ISFL ```
