Hodges-Allen attended R Snider High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana and was slotted as a Wide Receiver on the Varsity team as a freshman. The esteemed coach of the program was none other than former D1 Alabama player, Juwan Adams, who was taking over a dominant roster. The Snider High School football program has dominated for decades and only has recorded three losing seasons in the last 30 seasons.
Shakir had amazing Freshman and Sophomore seasons with the team that saw his stock as a prospect even continue to rise. By his Junior season, Shakir was rated as a 4-star prospect with all kinds of offers that an individual could dream of: Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Oregon, etc.
However, on August 21st going into his Senior Season, Hodges-Allen was arrested on charges of marijuana possession. Professional career
DSFL career
While Shakir's career has yet to fully start yet in terms of him being drafted by a DSFL Team within the draft, Hodges-Allen has been able to comfortably say that he has played as the DSFL level. Playing a brief stint for the Minnesota Grey Ducks in S51, Shakir was able to place himself into a secondary receiver role that netted positive results and even a clenched playoff number one spot with the organization. The season ended in an unfortunate loss that removed Shakir from the Grey Ducks organization as he further prepares for the DSFL draft to happen, he has been able to claim a 4 game sample size that showcased 2 receiving touchdowns and 109 reception yards, an amazing season for the individual so far. Now being eligible and also entered into the draft, the full thing rides on his potential and waiting on where he will find himself next.
