+ | Cussion had a solid rookie season for the Yellowknife Wraiths. He was one of only 28 players with 100 or more tackles, and 1 of only 3 rookies to eclipse that mark. His 9 sacks was second among rookies, and his 7 tackles for losses was 1st among rookies as well. He had 12 tackles, his single game season high, in the first game of the season against the Orange County Otters. His only double digit sack game came against the Baltimore Hawks in Week 5. Kahn accounted for 31% of Yellowknife's 29 total sacks, and 23% of the Wraiths 31 total tackles for loss. He had 5 games with 9 or more tackles, and 1 game with 2 sacks. Week 15 was another solid performance where he finished with 2 tackles behind the line of scrimmage and 3 passes defended. Cussion's solid season earned him a nomination for Defensive Rookie of the Year. He looks to get better in his sophomore season.
+ | ==ISFL Season 34== | ||
+ | Cussion had a solid sophomore campaign in ISFL Season 34. He finished tied for 8th most tackles in the league with 109. He had 2 games (Week 2 & Week 9) with double-digit tackles. The best game of his young career so far came in week 9 against the New Orleans Second Line as well, when he had 10 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 pass defended. His 8 tackles for loss was good enough to tie for 8th most in the league. Cussion is proving to be a very solid linebacker and a steal as a 2nd Round pick. In week 3 against the Sailfish, he had 3 tackles behind the line of scrimmage, the most in a single game in his career. In his 3rd season, Cussion is looking to cut down on his missed tackles. He was not happy that his missed tackles increases in his second season. He is excited to improve and help Yellowknife have a dominant defense for years to come.
+ | ==ISFL Season 35== | ||
+ | Cussion's third season just proved again that he appears to be a very consistent player at his position. He eclipsed 100 tackles again, and reached double digits sacks for the first time in a single season. He has not been a dominant player, but he has been a very solid player for Yellowknife since the Wraiths drafted him in the second round a few seasons ago. S35 saw Kah Cussion get his first safety as a pro. His 8 tackles for loss ties a career high, he was able to decreased his missed tackles by 1 from S34 to S35. He is part of a very solid defense and everyone on the team was making plays, making Kahn's job much easier. In S36, he looks to improve in all facets of the game, especially sacks. As he develops, Cussion should be a consistent 15+ sack linebacker every season. He is a very solid all-around player that benefits from being around a young defensive core group on the rise.
+ | ==ISFL Season 36== | ||
+ | In Kahn Cussion's 4th season, we saw his tackle numbers take quite a dip, as it was the first time in his professional career that he did surpass 100 tackles in a season. He did, however, have a career high 15 sacks (2nd most in the league), and 11 passes defended (also a career high). In addition, he had his second career touchdown in ISFL season 36. He became a force in the pass rush as he averaged just under a sack per game. While his other linebacker teammates piled up the tackles, Cussion seemed to focus more this season on disrupting the opposing offense, which definitely hurt his tackling numbers. The Wraiths have an excellent young defense, and Kahn is reaping the benefits as one of the veterans trying to help anchor it. Next season, he hopes to improve in both areas, and become a feared player on the defensive side of the ball. His play earned him a Defensive Player of the Year Nomination, and he hopes to win that award next season.
+ | ==ISFL Season 37== | ||
+ | Kahn Cussion had an excellent 5th season. He finished second in the league in sacks with 17, a career high, giving him 60 for his career. He has eclipsed 500 tackles with help of his 109 tackles in ISFL Season 37. He was Defensive Player of the Game (DPotG) in 3 weeks in a row. In Week 3, he had 4 tackles and 2 sacks. Following that solid performance, in Week 4, he had 9 tackles and 2 sacks. He finished it up with 9 tackles and 1 sack in Week 5. Then, after a couple mediocre performances, he went back to back as DPotG in Weeks 8 and 9. Week 8 saw Cussion with 10 tackles and 2 sacks, and Week 9 he had 9 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery. In the postseason, Cussion had a sack and safety against the Chicago Butchers in the first round, and a sack in the second round against the Sarasota Sailfish. Cussion looks to continue his solid career in Season 38.
+ | ==ISFL Season 38== | ||
+ | Cussion's 6th season is his best to date, and his spectacular play has earned him a Defensive Player of the Year nomination. His 19 sacks led the league, and his 3 interceptions were most among linebackers. His four forced fumbles tied his single season career high, and his 9 passes defended was second most in his career (tie). He eclipsed 600 career tackles this season, and his 79 career sacks are 3rd best in Yellowknife Wraiths history. He is already a Wraith legend, but he wants to become their all time sack leader. Right now, he is 26 sacks behind the great Leonard Taylor, who he greatly respects. Cussion is a team player first, and he wants that elusive Championship to eventually cement his career in the ISFL record books. He should have a number of good seasons left in the tank, and he is looking forward to the new season. He has been training hard this offseason to make another big impact season on defense.
+ | ==ISFL Season 39== | ||
+ | Cussion had a solid season in ISFL 39 culminating in his first ever League Championship. He had a career high 2 safeties, and is continuing to be one of the best linebackers in the game, and an all time Yellowknife Wraith great. His consistency is what makes him a very solid player in the league. His 12 sacks in S39 were the 5th time in a row he eclipsed double digit sacks. He had his second lowest tackles this season, but that was partly due to the emergence of linebacker Jack McPherson. There was no real weakness on the Wraiths defense, and everyone played a big role in the amazing season. Cussion proved why he was the captain this season, and he helped show some of the younger players how to succeed in the league. Cussion hopes to continue his solid play for a few more seasons, and end his career with Yellowknife retiring his number. That is quite a ways away, but Kahn looks forward to the future.
+ | ==ISFL Season 40== | ||
+ | Kahn Cussion's outstanding performance in ISFL Season 40 has cemented his place as one of the premier pass rushers in the league. His 17 sacks were not only a personal best but also a significant contribution to the Yellowknife Wraith's success throughout the season. Despite missing a few tackles, his ability to create negative plays with 11 tackles for a loss highlights his immense impact on the field. In addition to his impressive sack and tackle numbers, Cussion also displayed remarkable consistency and durability, playing in all 16 games and tallying a career-high of 109 tackles. His exceptional season earned him Second-Team All Pro honors, a testament to his exceptional ability and hard work. He now owns the record for most sacks in Yellowknife Wraiths history. As he continues to dominate the opposition on the field, Kahn Cussion will undoubtedly be a key player for the Yellowknife Wraith in the coming seasons, and his remarkable performances will remain etched in the history of the team.
+ | ==ISFL Season 41== | ||
+ | In the highly anticipated ISFL season, Kahn Cussion emerged as a force to be reckoned with on the field. With a staggering 12 sacks and an impressive 98 tackles, he continued to establish himself as a dominant presence in the game. Cussion's relentless pursuit of the quarterback left opposing offenses scrambling for answers, while his tenacious tackling skills made him a nightmare for ball carriers. His ability to disrupt plays and create turnovers became the backbone of his team's defense. With each game, Cussion showcased his unparalleled athleticism and unmatched determination, solidifying his place as a true force in the world of football. While many expected Kahn Cussion's output on the defensive side of the ball to decline, he had a very solid season in his 9th in the league. He was player of the game twice, and he reached double digit sacks for the seventh season in a row. He now has 120 total career sacks, which puts him at 6th on the all-time list. It will be very hard to come close to his season 41 output in upcoming season 42.
+ | ==ISFL Season 42== | ||
+ | Kahn Cussion is a 10-year veteran linebacker who had his best season in S42. He had 19 sacks, 124 tackles, 1 safety, 1 defensive touchdown, and 2 interceptions. Cussion's 19 sacks tied for the most by any linebacker in the ISFL in season 42. He also had the 5th most tackles by a linebacker in the league. Cussion's performance in S42 was a surprise to many. He was entering his 10th season in the ISFL, but showed that he was still capable of playing at a high level. Cussion's performance was also a testament to his hard work and dedication. He is a veteran player who has always been a team player. He is not a flashy player, but he is a very effective player. Cussion's season was a remarkable one. He had his best season as a linebacker after a decade in the league. He showed that he is still one of the best linebackers in the ISFL.

Contents
Early years
Cussion attended Colony High School in Ontario, California, where he played high school football for the Titans. In 2017, he registered 129 tackles, including 7 sacks as a senior. He also played tight end, tallying 47 catches for 695 yards with 12 touchdowns. He received numerous division and conference honors for his exceptional play. A two-year captain on the football team, Cussion was a community favorite and loved to interact with fans, sign autographs and pose for pictures. He was also very involved in local youth football camps. After his senior year of high school, he spent most of the summer preparing for his move to Utah. He loved early morning workouts that lasted for hours. He was always the first to arrive to practice and the last to leave. He was considered a coaches dream.
College career
Considered a one-star recruit by many scouts, Cussion's only offer came from Utah State, which he accepted. He impressed the coaches immediately upon arriving on the school's campus. Cussion attended Utah State University from 2018 to 2021. A four-year starter, he recorded 445 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and four interceptions during his career. As a senior in 2011, Cussion was the WAC Defensive Player of the Year after recording 147 tackles, four sacks, and two interceptions. He became only the second player in school history to be invited to play in the Senior Bowl, and the first person in his family to graduate from college.

ISFL Season 33
Cussion had a solid rookie season for the Yellowknife Wraiths.
ISFL Season 34
Cussion had a solid sophomore campaign in ISFL Season 34.
ISFL Season 35
Cussion's third season just proved again that he appears to be a very consistent player at his position. As he develops, Cussion should be a consistent 15+ sack linebacker every season. He is a very solid all-around player that benefits from being around a young defensive core group on the rise.
ISFL Season 36
In Kahn Cussion's 4th season, we saw his tackle numbers take quite a dip, as it was the first time in his professional career that he did surpass 100 tackles in a season.

Kahn Cussion had an excellent 5th season. In the postseason, Cussion had a sack and safety against the Chicago Butchers in the first round, and a sack in the second round against the Sarasota Sailfish. Cussion looks to continue his solid career in Season 38.
ISFL Season 38

His 19 sacks led the league, and his 3 interceptions were most among linebackers. His four forced fumbles tied his single season career high, and his 9 passes defended was second most in his career (tie). He eclipsed 600 career tackles this season, and his 79 career sacks are 3rd best in Yellowknife Wraiths history. He is already a Wraith legend, but he wants to become their all time sack leader. Cussion had a solid season in ISFL 39 culminating in his first ever League Championship. He had a career high 2 safeties, and is continuing to be one of the best linebackers in the game, and an all time Yellowknife Wraith great.
