Lucas Graves (born February 11, 1901) is an American football cornerback for the London Royals of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Lucas was adopted when he was 7 years old. Unfortunately not much is known about him before then as his records are incomplete. The Kalamazoo House for wayward children where he grew up ended up burning down in a freak accident shortly after Lucas was adopted. The records of his birth and other medical information never made it to his new family. He was adopted by a younger couple named George and Doris who came to love him as their own. He took their last name, "Graves" as his real name was unknown. Lucas was cut from a different cloth however, he was determined to play sports and he often did quite well. His parents begrudgingly allowed it. They were not big fans of sports as they were afraid of injury and too much testosterone. But they slowly came around realizing their son had a talent on the field. From then on it was football all day, everyday.

Professional career

DSFL career

In the 49th season of the International Football Simulation League, Lucas Graves was picked up of waivers by the London Royals development team. Lucas and the Royals were both extremely excited to get his professional career underway and to see what he was able to accomplish. After some time in the development league he hoped he would get to go on and face future Hall of Fame players like Wolfie McDummy Jr. In his first season of the DSFL the Royals went on a big hot streak at home winning 7-0 and later finished 12-2. The Royals benefited from a good offense and an amazing defense which allowed only 221 points. Unfortuntely things quickly closed for them as they were knocked out of the playoffs immediately by the Grey Ducks. Lucas started all 14 games and recorded 51 Tackles and 11 Pass Deflections. Not the greatest season for him, but he took the lessons learned and would strive to be better.
