Constatine also played basketball in high school. In basketball, and was a highly recruited prospect in the sport out of Kansas, holding his school career record in points scored and steals. However when it was time to commit to colleges he decided to focus on football, leading to limited choices for full scholarships, he eventually committed to the University of Iowa.

College career

As a true freshman for Iowa in the 2060 season Constantine played mostly special teams, he was the team's primary punt returner, recording 2 returns for touchdown and having the best net yards on punt returns in the Big Ten. In his sophomore season Constantine became a full time starter on defense, starting as the team's slot corner. His versatility as a returner came in handy as he led the team in interceptions and pick sixes. Highlighted by a 72 yard pick returned for a touchdown vs Michigan to clinch a B1G Championship game berth. The team however fell short to Ohio State this season in the big game. Constantine's junior year is when Iowa hit it's stride. He was a crucial part of the NCAA's best passing defense in 2062. For a second consecutive season he lead his team in interceptions but this time the offense helped defeat Ohio State in the B1G Championship leading to Iowa to be selected in the NCAA playoffs as a 3 seed. Despite the defense and Constantine's effort however they couldn't keep up with LSU's offense and lost in the first round. After this season Constantine declared for the DSFL.

Declaring for the DSFL midseason Constantine was put through waivers and claimed by the Tijuana Luchadores. Constantine's first game with the Luchadores was in Week 11 in a 41-16 rout of the Kansas City Coyotes. Constantine didn't get much playtime in his debut but made the most of it with a tackle and pass deflection. Constantine then earned a starting corner job for the final three weeks of the season however the Luchadores struggled finishing 0-3 down the stretch, but luckily still made the playoffs at 7-6-1. In the first round of the DSFL playoffs the Luchadores faced of against the Norfolk Seawolves. Casper's moment came with 5:14 left in the 1st half up 10-0 Constantine caught his first career interception. Helping Tijuana secure a 18-13 win sending the Luchadores to the Ultimini where they would face the Minnesota Grey Ducks. While Constantine didn't have any notable stats in the championship game the Luchadores did fine without him. Tijuana won 20-10, getting Casper a championship ring as he enters the S49 DSFL Draft.

2064 (S49)

With the 27th overall pick in the DSFL Draft the Kansas City Coyotes selected Casper Constantine. Pairing him with fellow S50 rookie Benjamin Abenduct who the Coyotes selected with the 3rd overall pick to create a young and elite corner duo to anchor the pass defense. Casper came out hot in the preseason, the Coyotes only went 1-1 but Constantine had 25 tackles, 1 sack, 4 pass deflections and 1 interception through the 4 preseason games. Unfortunately it didn't translate directly into the regular season, as the young Coyotes struggled starting out 0-2, gained some momentum winning back to back games vs Minnesota and Dallas but then lost 3 straight ending up 2-5 halfway through the season. However in week 7 Constantine had his season highlight vs the Norfolk Seawolves where he picked off his former prospect bowl teammate Jack Cannon and returned it 53 yards for a touchdown. Kansas City was able to win a couple more games in the second half however still came up short of the playoffs finishing the season 4-10.
