Lakin Makin is an enigma. No one is certain where he came from or how he even learned football. But it is clear that he excels at it, gifted with natural speed and strength. Some say that he is a hairless Bigfoot that has adapted to human sports, others think that he is a failed military experiment to create the first stealth soldier. It is clear to everyone that Lakin's documents are forged, but his abilities on the field allowed for teams to overlook this small inconsistency. There have been reported Lakin sightings all over the world, in pubs, at theatres, in the woods, on the side of mountains, etc. People claim to have known him since birth. But yet, no one has been able to produce a clear photograph of Lakin, or verify their claims. This mysterious player seems to have sprung from no where. One thing is clear, the boy can play some ball.
College career
There is no known footage or record of Lakin ever playing football or even attending college. Some teams have claimed that he played for them under a psuedonym, and there are allegedly some photographs from the early 1900s of someone who resembles Lakin playing early football. It is clear to everyone that Lakin is familiar with the game, demonstrating solid football IQ and ability. But where did he learn this? That is the question that has been plaguing journalists since his appearance at the pre draft combine. It is clear that his mysterious orgins do not seem to both the GMs of the DSFL or ISFL however. They only care about the skills and ability of the player, not his history or upbringing. Time will tell if any of the purported Lakin psuedonyms are true. But for now, all we know about this player is what we see on the professional fields
