Benny was known throughout his life as "Short Stuff" as he was the shortest member of his family at only 5'3". While he was picked on somewhat, overall he was generally well-liked and well-respected. He got good grades in high school, was the star player of the Shibuya Flying Hams, and a team leader, so much so that his senior year was made team captain. Football was his life and he was proud to be accepted into University of Tokyo on a full ride athletic scholarship. His father and mother both were students there, but he determined from a young age he wanted to get in on his own merits and he was able to do so, which made his acceptance ever  better.

As a freshman at UTokyo in 2054, Benny rarely started but did make an impact on the few occasions he did start. He had 750 receiving yards in 8 starts. His second season his amount of starts increased dramatically, as WR1 was hit with a slew of injuries and ultimately his season ended halfway through the year. That year he had 1,000 receiving yards, 150 receptions, 10 starts and 15 touchdowns. Halfway through the season his mother passed from cancer so his production did dip slightly but not enough to bench him. His junior year he was heavily considering declaring for the draft as he had 1,100 receiving yards, 175 receptions, 17 starts and 20 touchdowns. His senior year had slightly less production than his junior year, having only 1,000 receiving yards, 180 receptions and 18 touchdowns in 17 starts. Then he declared for the DSFL Draft and it will be interesting to see how his career plays out from here.
