Xavier Buckley (born March 26, 2017) is an American football linebacker who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks.He played college football for Georgia and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years
Xavier Buckley's childhood in Chattanooga was marked by a deep love for both education and football. Born into a family where sports and academics were highly valued, Xavier was fortunate to have parents who provided a solid foundation for his development. With his mother Laura being a high school teacher at the local school, Xavier was always pushed to ensure that his academic studies were at the forefront of his development.
His father Desmond, support his wife choice, however kept pushing Xavier to be the best person he could be. Both mum & dad would alwasys take him to any sports club he was a part of at youbg age, Xavier grew quicker than most kids of his age reaching 6"" before any of his class mates, and was quikcly noted by the schools football coach. Xavier became a star player for his school setting many records in his time both on offence as a RB but mainly as a impact LB on defence.
With the guidance and encouragement of both his parents, Xavier pursued his dream of playing football at the college level. When he received a scholarship offer to play linebacker at Georgia College, his family couldn't have been prouder nor for that matter was the school. Heading off to Georgia College was an exciting adventure for Xavier, but he carried with him the lessons and values learned from his loving and supportive parents. Their unwavering belief in him, both as a student and an athlete, would continue to be a source of inspiration and motivation as he embarked on his collegiate football journey.
College career
Xavier Buckley's college career at Georgia College was marked by dedication, hard work, and a passion for football. While he may not have been a superstar on the collegiate stage, he proved himself as a dependable and valuable member of the Georgia College Bobcats football team.On the field, Xavier's contributions were evident in his ability to make crucial tackles, read the opponent's plays, and support his teammates. He was a team player, being voted twice by his team for best teamate.
As his college career drew to a close, Xavier began to set his sights on the next level – the DSFL. While he may not have been a standout superstar in college, his well-rounded skills, strong character, and work ethic caught the attention of DSFL scouts. Xavier Buckley was ready to take the next step in his football journey, hopeful that his years of dedication and hard work would pay off in the professional league.

DSFL Career
S45
Xavier was selected by the Portland Pythons and was so happy to be there. He was part of last seasons DSFL team winners, hoping to go back to back with wins. Not only that but he would learn the game under the eye of the stud LB Thor Dangerson. Xavier got off to great start to his career with a win over the MGD 33 - 3. Xavier recorded a decent 5 tackles with one TFL. Not a bad start. The Pythons had a great season finishing 11 - 3 with Xavier recorded a 100+ tackles season, 101 tackles to be accurate. The Pythons went up against the KCC in the first round of the playoff, winning 30 - 6. Xavier had a decent outing recording 7 tackles in that game as well a key sack. The Pythons came up so close to back to back wins, losing 37 - 20 to the Luchadores in a closer game than the score would suggest.
Xavier was drafted by Arizona with 8th Pick in the ISFL draft. Xavier was looking forward to a second season in the DSFL, hoping to get Portland back on top.
