Parameters Usage
40 insert "yes" if you want details on the 40 yd dash to appear
year year of the recruiting class
rivals ref title the "title" field in the ref tag for the Rivals source
scout ref title the "title" field in the ref tag for the Scout source
247 ref title the "title" field in the ref tag for the 247Sports source
espn ref title the "title" field in the ref tag for the ESPN source
rivals school at the beginning of the URL of the Rivals website, there is the school name followed by rivals.com; this is typically the name of the school, in all lowercase, without spaces. for example notredame for Notre Dame.
scout s in the URL of the Scout website, there is a name after team=, insert that name*
247 school The URL for the 247Sports website is of the form, <school>.247sports.com/Season/<year>-Football/Commits, insert <school> here and <year> in the year parameter described above.
espn schoolid in the URL of the ESPN website, there is a number after shoolID, insert that number
scout overall the overall rank of the team's recruiting class per Scout
rivals overall the overall rank of the team's recruiting class per Rivals
247 overall the overall rank of the team's recruiting class per 247Sports
espn overall the overall rank of the team's recruiting class per ESPN
accessdate the date the websites were accessed to retrieve information
archivedate the date the websites listed above were archived (all should be archived the same day)
rivals archiveurl the URL of the archived Rivals listing
scout archiveurl the URL of the archived Scout listing
247 player archiveurl the URL of the archived 247Sports listing
espn archiveurl the URL of the archived ESPN listing
bball insert "yes" if listing basketball recruits
  • To get the correct number, go to scout.com. Then select the appropriate college from the Scout Your Favorite Team section. Once there, select either FB Recruiting or BB Recruiting and then select Commits from the dropdown. Then look at the URL.
