Suave Cruz (born June 10, 2035) is an American football tight end who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks.He played college football for San Diego State (SDSU) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years
Suave Cruz was abandoned on the streets of San Diego as a child by unknown parents. Fending for himself, Cruz wondered alone until at seven years old he befriended Carlos Cruz at the park he frequently set up camp at. Carlos and Suave bonded over football, the sport Carlos' father -- Oso -- coached at the high school level. Carlos' family would later take in Suave and give him his name, a reference to his route-running in pickup football games. Despite the pressure from Carlos and Oso, Suave never took up football as an organized sport until late in high school. Carlos -- San Diego High's starting quarterback under Oso -- obviously wanted Suave to catch passes from him, but Suave was more focused on his first love: competitive gaming. After a freak accident at a Pokemon tournament ruined his ability to hold a controller correctly for the better part of three years in the spring of his junior year, Suave decided to play receiver for San Diego High. As a prep, he make national headlines with his one-handed catches and the story of how he was -- at the time -- unable to grasp things with his right hand.
College career
Carlos would eventually attend San Diego State on a football scholarship and Suave enrolled as a student in his footsteps. Rehabbing from his exploding controller accident and stuffed to the gills with Nintendo money after a successful lawsuit, Cruz took to making YouTube videos about football to pass the time. By the end of his sophomore season at San Diego State, Cruz gained 600k YouTube subscribers -- including one who encouraged him to try out for the Aztecs football team during a live stream. At the time, Suave's right hand has just recovered enough that he was able to start catching footballs with it again. Carlos, the second-string quarterback, would later convince Suave to join San Diego State's team with the help of an online petition that was created by the live stream commentor. Suave successfully joined the Aztecs in 2053, but spent the entire season redshirting as he learned the offense. In 2054, Suave was moved from receiver to tight end due to several injuries in spring camp and ended up winning the starting job. He broke out with an All-Mountain West campaign that put him in the spotlight as a potential draft pick. Living off of his Nintendo money, Cruz did not need a college scholarship to keep attending San Diego State, but received one heading into his redshirt season. Unfortunately, this also came with a college stipend -- which was improperly used on gambling on himself to win the Heisman Trophy at +10000 odds and cost him his final season of eligibilty. Entering the professional level with just one year of live college experience after a major injury, Cruz was viewed as a high-risk, high-reward prospect who could potentially burn out due to either injury or his lack of decision making. Hiring Carlos as his agent didn't help convince pro clubs otherwise.
