Stone Wall (born September 6, 2000) is an American football runningback for the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Stone wall grew up playing football in the parks near his home in Tribecca in New York City. Basketball was more popular so he played that a bit. He spent a ton of time playing sports throughout his childhood. He was born to two middle class parents with some proclivity to playing sports but never really made it too much past playing in rec leagues in college and just after. They settled into comfortable living while Stone grew big. The two sides of his family were rather big coming from midwest towns where corn and meat were important staples. It was rare that you found Stone inside. Playing basketball growing up helped Stone to develop skills that initially were used to make him a good offensive lineman with his footwork. But he got to play all over the field in his youth because he was a great athlete. Fun fact: Stone is short for Winston.

College career

Stone was academically gifted and wanted to make sure he spent his college years wisely by going to a good college. He also did not want to stray too far from home so he landed at NYCU to pursue a degree in accounting. He knew math well enough that it allowed him to play football on a full scholarship all while maintainting grades to make the dean's list every year of college. He started out on the defensive secondary because of his speed, but then they pulled him closer to the line as he started to bulk up. By the end of his career in college, Stone had ballooned to well over 250 pounds. That landed him on the offensive line. He enjoyed getting to shove smaller guys around and protect his quarterback. He did enjoy playing more of the skill positions but the delicious and unlimited food of college took its toll. Regardless, it made him play a number of positions all across the field so he was quite versitile coming into the draft for the ISFL.

2061 Season

The 2061 season was a very short season for Stone Wall. He floundered his way onto the Bondi Beach Buccaneers by chances to get some reps on the practice squad ahead of the DSFL draft. At this point in Stone Wall's life, he had ballooned to a hefty 240 and was asked to start playing Offensive Line for the Bucs. He impressed the coaching staff enough to earn a starting spot on the line for the very last game of the season. He played the entire game and registered two pancakes. That was the extent of the first season of play for Stone Wall before the draft. The draft then took place and after being contacted by a good number of the DSFL teams, he was chosen by the Bondi Beach Buccaneers in the fifth round with the thirty-fifth pick which was really cool to go back to the same team that helped Stone to get where he is now.

2062 Season

What a difference a year makes. After showing up to camp horribly obese last season, Stone Wall was able to trim down to a reasonable 190 pounds playing weight with a bit of muscle built back and the ability to show off his speed. This impressed the coaching staff at Bondi Beach so much that they drafted me in the fifth round of the DSFL draft at the thirty-fifth pick. When Stone Wall walked into training camp at the beginning of the year, the coaches had some ideas about how Stone Wall would fit into the roster. Instead of playing on the offensive line, they wanted Stone to play running back. This was a bit of a shock to Stone at the time. It turned out to be a great move. Stone spent the entire training camp working on speed and agility. He is now the lead running back for the team and is having a great team. He helped get the team to the playoffs by the skin of their teeth. Sadly, the Bucs did not make it past the first round, but it was great to get the experience.
