Dominic Reynolds (born February 4, 2040) is an American football runningback for the Minnesota Grey Ducks of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Dominic was born in Ontario, Canada to Sarah and Michael Reynolds. His parents are former collegiate athletes at the University of Wisconsin, where they met while both competing on the track team. Dominic had a passion for football early and it was evident. Since Canada is not known for its football programs, they spent extra time looking for opportunities for american recruiters to have their eyes on their son. What started slow, as a 2 star athlete out of high school, many small local programs looked to Dominic as a depth piece and were not exciting offers. However, after a very successful official visit with Purdue, Dominic quickly declared and had his eyes set on where he wanted to play collegiate football. This decision came extremely easy because of the passion he felt from the coaches, and their willingness to take in an offensive linemen who many considered to be extremely talented, but undersized for the next level.

College career

"Dominic was proud to be a Boilermaker and knew that academics would be a priority during his team at university. He was a physics major and would use these studies to translate to the football field. While redshirted his freshman year sitting behind a future 2nd round pick, Dom grew up the wings and was prepared for his breakout. His redshirt freshman year is where he began to excel. He took over as the starting right guard for the boiler makers. His coaches quickly recognized his leadership and knowledge of the game. He would finish with a great first season, only allowing 3 sacks all season.

His redshirt sophomore year, he took over as the starting center where he solidified himself as an elite lineman. He would lead the B1G 10 in fewest pressures, and had among the top passing blocking and run blocking grades in the country. After this season, he would declare for the draft."

Season 46

Dominic would enter the DSFL as the starting center for the Minnesota Grey Ducks. Joining this roster, Dom also had the privilege of being named a team captain on offense by his peers in his rookie season. He was entering a team with sky high expectations, and a mission destined for the post season. From the jump, Dominic was electrifying on the line. His first game finishing with 3 pancakes and no sacks allowed. This was only the beginning as he continued to grow and develop as a player. Finally came week 8 in their rematch game against the 1 seed Tijuana Luchadores. Entering the season with no sacks allowed and coming off a loss to the Luchadores the week prior, Dominic would post a season high 9 sacks and was a major contributing factor to the upset win. The Grey Ducks were now 5-3 and starting to gain momentum. The next week however, proved to be a major road block for the team when they took on the London Royals. In an embarrassing game that was never even close, the Grey Ducks fell 30-13 and saw Dominic give up his first, and later to be his only, sack of the entire season.

The Grey Ducks finished out the season undefeated after this point and posted a 10-4 record, earning the 1 seed in the north. Unfortunately, the Grey Ducks would lose to the eventual champs, the Dallas Birddogs, who went on to defeat the London Royals in the Ultimini.

Season 47

Prior to the start of the season, Dominic would be drafted 5th overall to the New York Silverbacks of the ISFL. Through the offseason training camp with his new team, they decided he should switch to play runningback, taking advantage of his natural size and athleticism. However, part of this deal would require him to remain with the Grey Ducks in the DSFL for an additional season to learn this new position. The Grey Ducks would have an incredible season where the finished as the 1 seed in the entire league. However, they would once again lose in the first round to the future champions for the second season in a row.

As for his first year playing runningback, Dominic lit up the stat sheet. He split carries with fellow back Soul King Brook, but would still end the season averaging 4.9 Yds on 173 rushes, and 12.1 yards on 51 receptions and scoring 10 touchdowns. After the conclusion of this season, he received the call he would be moving up the the ISFL full time to become the future runningback for the Silverbacks.
