Animal Blundetto (born November 5, 2050) is an American football runningback for the Portland Pythons of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Animal Blundetto was born in Hochatown, Oklahoma. He was born to father Creature Blundetto and mother Annabelle Blundetto. He was known to have engaged in manual labor at a young age in order to assist his parents on their rural plot of land. Due to his apparent strength, he was persuaded by a coach at Broken Bow High School to pursue sports. Initially being placed at a lineman position, after filling in for an injured running back during practice, Animal was witnessed by his coaches excelling as a powerful, crushing runner. After transitioning this success to actual games, Animal officially moved to running back. Animal began attracting college scouts while still a junior in high school. Despite not winning many games, Animal was a standout performer, and his tough running style even caused some parents to complain that he was a danger to his sons due to his strength and aggressivness when fighting off tackles. During his senior season, Animal accepted an offer to play for Louisiana State University.

College career

Despite just being a freshman, Animal Blundetto immediately began seeing playing time. However, he began as a part of a duo, splitting carries with the speedy sophomore Reggie Henderson. The two running backs became affectionately known as "thunder and lightning" due to thier successful yet very different styles of running the ball. Blundetto was often placed in the lineup during short-yardage situations, such as 3rd down, 4th down, and goalline carries. This was due to his ability to push through defenders and break tackles. Blundetto achieved efficient success running the ball and splitting carries through his junior year, and going into his junior season, Blundetto was given the historic #18 jersey number for LSU, a number traditionally given to a leader of the team. Blundetto was pushed even further into the spotlight when Reggie Henderson experienced a serious ACL injury in the offseason, meaning the Blundetto would be the lead back for his junior year season. Blundetto excelled in the new role and the higher volume of carries. He also was forced to expand his game into playing more snaps as a recieving back, but coaches and scouts were astounded at his ability to learn the new style. In his senior season, Blundetto was seen as one of the top prospects of his class. He led LSU to a victory in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and recieved MVP for the game, as DSFL scouts watched.
