ISFL Season 44 (also referred to as the 2059 ISFL season) began on 28 September, 2059 with the Colorado Yeti hosting the Berlin Fire Salamanders. The season concluded with Ultimus Bowl XLIV, held at Neyland Stadium, Knoxville on 08 February, 2060, where the Honolulu Hahalua were crowned ISFL champions after defeating the Cape Town Crash by a score of 43-36.

Player movements
The league year began in March of 2059, with teams allowed to contact and enter negotiations with players whose contracts were not yet extended beyond the end of the 2058 ISFL season.
Free agency
Free agency began on 23 February, 2059
- Quarterbacks: Adrian St. Christmas (NOLA → BER)
- Wide Receivers: Forozka Duanei (NOLA → OCO), Derrick Prince (CTC → NOLA), Jay Money (BAL → CTC)
- Offensive Lineman: Josh Mabry (OCO → BAL)
- Defensive Ends: Xavier Valorian (OCO → SJS), Mabel Pines (BAL → CHI)
- Cornerbacks: Apollo Program (CTC → COL)

- Colorado → Honolulu: Colorado receive RB Henry Oswald-Newman from Honolulu in exchange for $1m in S44 cap space
- Yellowknife → Orange County: Yellowknife receive WR Artemis Entreri from Orange County in exchange for a S45 69th round draft pick
- Berlin → San Jose: Berlin receive $1m in S44 cap space from San Jose in exchange for $1m in S45 cap space
- Honolulu → Colorado: Honolulu receives OL Remi Musgrave-Smythe from Colorado in exchange for $2m in S44 cap space and $2m in S45 cap space

The 2059 ISFL Draft was held on 13 April, 2059. The New Orleans Second Line selected tight end Thomas Passarelli with the first overall pick.
Rule changes
No rule changes were approved by a committee consisting of ISFL general managers and Head Office that would have come into effect for the 2059 season and beyond
Preseason
Training camps for the 2059 season started on 03 August, 2059 league-wide, with the first preseason game being held on 31 August, 2059 between the Berlin Fire Salamanders and the Baltimore Hawks.
Regular season
The regular season's 112 games, played over a 16-week schedule, began on 28 September, 2059.
