Xavier "Xav" Clayton Jones Frost (born April 10, 2032) is an American football wide receiver and return specialist prospect in the upcoming DSFL Draft. He played college football at Notre Dame.

Early years

Xavier Clayton Jones Frost was born in Salem, New Jersey, on April 10, 2031, as the youngest of five children to Lane Frost and Kimberly Frost. Xavier's father, Lane, was always away while being the head coach at many college programs and professional teams. Frost's brothers, Lane Frost II, Kellan Frost, Ryder Frost, and Aiden Frost all played football. Lane II played football for the Minnesota Grey Ducks and Honolulu Hahalua. Kellan played for the Norfolk Seawolves. Ryder was tragically killed in a car crash in 2048. Aiden played for the Dallas Birddogs for two seasons. Frost attended Salem High School. As a senior, he returned 5 kicks and 5 punts for touchdowns and ran for 10 touchdowns.

On November 2, 2050, Frost committed to the University of Notre Dame on an athletic scholarship to play college football. Frost would sign an NIL deal with Nike on December 12.

College career

Freshman season

On September 7, 2052, Frost made his debut for Notre Dame. He rushed for 10 yards on 3 carries and had 4 catches for 35 yards and a receiving touchdown. Notre Dame would go on to beat number 2 ranked, Georgia. On September 21, Frost returned a punt for 60 yards for a touchdown against Alabama. Notre Dame would upset Nick Saban and take down their number two-ranked team. On December 14, Frost returned the longest kick return in ACC Championship Game history when he returned the opening kickoff 56 yards. Frost was awarded second-team All-ACC and Conference Rookie of the Year.

Sophomore season

On September 20, 2053, Frost started the one and only game of his career at running back for the injured Marquise Jefferson. Frost carried the ball 16 times for 98 yards and 2 touchdowns in a Notre Dame victory over USC. On November 1, Frost returned a punt and a kickoff return for a touchdown in the same game, 78 yards, and 99 yards respectively. The Irish would go on to win the game with a late touchdown catch by Frost at the 2-yard line. On November 8, Frost would become the first player in NCAA history to return a punt for a touchdown in back-to-back games when he returned a punt for 67 yards against the Clemson Tigers. Notre Dame would blow them out, 56–10. On December 13, Frost and Notre Dame went into their second straight ACC Championship Game. Frost would go on to catch 2 touchdown passes for 103 yards on 13 receptions. Frost would win ACC Championship Game MVP. Frost was awarded the Jet Award after returning a total of 4 kicks and punts for touchdowns during the season and having over 900 kick return yards and over 200 punt return yards. He was also voted first-team All-ACC. He was also voted as a first-team All-American as a returner.

Junior season

On September 12, 2054, Frost made his debut as the starting wide receiver for Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish beat Arkansas, 50–20. Frost caught 4 passes for 101 yards. On October 3, Frost had 4 touchdowns against Army. He rushed for a 4-yard and 6-yard score and he caught a 60-yard touchdown and a 12-yard touchdown pass. Frost also totaled 203 receiving yards and 54 rushing yards. On November 21, Frost passed the century mark for receptions with 101 after he caught 5 passes for 98 yards against the Marshall Thundering Herd. On December 12, Frost would win ACC Championship Game MVP for the second year in a row after returning a kick for a touchdown and having 2 receiving touchdowns on 12 catches and 156 receiving yards. On December 26, Frost would go on to play North Carolina in the Rose Bowl after winning the ACC Championship and clinching their trip to the College Football Playoffs. Frost would catch 4 passes and 3 of them would be touchdowns. He would also return a punt for a touchdown. They would win the game and Frost would be awarded Rose Bowl Game Offensive MVP. Frost won the Paul Hornung Award and the Jet Award. The Atlantic Coast Conference awarded Frost the conference Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, and Male Athlete of the Year. He was also voted as a first-team All-American as a wide receiver and returner. On January 3, 2055, Frost decided he would forgo his final year of eligibility and enter the 2055 DSFL Draft.

Legacy

Frost was reported as "one of the best dual-threat players in Notre Dame history" by Michael Renner of Pro Football Focus (PFF). He broke many ACC records but did not eclipse any NCAA Division I records. Frost was on the first ballot of the Notre Dame Football Hall of Fame but did not make it in on his first attempt.
