Xander Creed (born July 15, 1998) is an American football runningback for the Kansas City Coyotes of the National Simulation Football League.

Early years

Born in Los Angeles California, in July 1998. Grew up in the Suburbs with his Mother and Father and two younger brothers. As a young boy Xander played youth football and basketball. As he grew older he started to move more into Football and away from basketball, while adding Track and Field in high school. He quickly turned heads in high school, breaking the schools rushing records as a freshman. He also made state in Track and Field. Eventually leaving the Track team to focus on Football, Xander began to hone his skill as a running back. As a Sophomore he broke his own rushing yards record, adding the rushing touchdown record on top of it and a state Finals appearance. As a junior he had a bit of a down year, He led the team to state, though lost in the first round and played the worst game of his career against Bakersfield High where he totalled 57 yards on 21 carries. College scouts had been eyeing him and keeping their eyes on him throughout his career, but his senior year he really turned heads. En route to his third appearance in the state tournament, he pounded the rock through the tournament and the finals, scoring 3 touchdowns in the state final and 137 yards on only 19 carries. They went on to win two rounds in the national tournament but fell short of the finals. After a ton of scholarship offers he finally chose to sign with Colorado due to family ties in the area.

College career

As a true freshman Xander did not start for the team, although he did see a number of carries in multiple games as the backup. He showed of tremendous explosiveness when he did play, and on 97 carries in the season he ran for 513 yards and 6 touchdowns. With a very dominant 5.1 yards per carry as a freshman, he took the starting job as a sophomore. He had a decent season in his sophomore year, rushing for 1,013 yards on 182 attempts for a 5.2 ypc. He also tallied 14 touchdowns that season. As a Junior Xander Creed had a truly dominating performance. Rushing for 1,310 yards on 215 carries and 23 touchdowns. His 6.0 yards per carry was one of the best in the league and carried him through a Heisman trophy victory. His team that season was the most dominant rushing offense, but fell shortof any noteworthy titles because of a lack of defense or passing game. He went on after that season to skip his Senior year and declare for the DSFL draft.

Professional career

DSFL career

Signed as a waiver by the Minnesota Grey Ducks, shortly after his Junior college season when he opted for the draft instead of his senior year in college. He was the backup for the teams star running back Mike Rotchburns, and though he had limited carries he made due with 45 carries for 196 yards and 3 touchdowns and an efficient 4.4 yards per carry. After that season ended with a heartbreaking loss to the London Royals in the COnference Championship, he was set for the draft and his official rookie debut. Xander Creed played lights out throughout the prospect bowl with the Edinbourgh Unicorns, leading all running back prospects throughout the bowl in touchdowns, yards, and yards per carry. He went on to be selected by the Kansas City Coyotes with the 11th Overall selection in the S26 DSFL draft. In the S26 preseason Xander rushed 95 times for 388 yards, a 4.0 yard per carry average, that was solid for a rookie of his caliber, but the Coyotes struggled in the preseason. Once the regualr season starts he si projected to have a great season, and rush over 1,000 yards.
