Videl Valor (born May 5, 2027) was an American football runningback. She played college football for the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Early years

Videl Valor was the spiritual reincarnation of Videl-San, a former Copperhead WR. The story is that Videl’s private limo crashed into a jersey wall just a few miles outside of the training facility. Videl couldn’t get out of the fiery wreckage, she had only her left arm to use to attempt to separate herself from what is left of her limo. She was transported to the hospital immediately, where she was diagnosed with not only a concussion but, she had both of her legs broken and also her right arm was broken too. "God Dammit!" Videl said in anguish as she was rolled into the emergency room for surgery. She had to get a blood infusion or else she was going to die from lack of blood! The surgery to repair all of her limbs was successful, but there was a strange side effect, that would affect her playing style. "Videl, I hate to inform you about this, but the blood you have received may in fact hinder your football abilities permanently." The doctor said as he checked on Videl’s heartbeat. "What has changed doctor? Please tell me!" Videl muttered angrily, the doctor was quick to respond; "Videl, the blood is from one of your coaches, Ryan Leaf Jr, to be exact. You are somewhat of a running back now." Videl was first confused about the information she first received, wondering if her playing days were over, but then it got to her. She was Isekai’d into a running back player, she also noticed that she somehow got younger too.

College career

Videl was now back to square one, back to college as a running back, she had to prove to the entire team that a walk-on can dominate. "I need to remain calm and confident, I can’t let anyone down!" Videl thought as she first walked into the UCLA campus, a bit nervous and shaken up from the hospital she had recently been discharged from. Almost right off the bat, she knew that something was different, she couldn’t catch as much as she once did, but she could still run. She eventually worked her way up to be the backup in the UCLA Bruins depth chart, when she had her first start. The starter just went down with a high ankle sprain, and down by 7 to the rival Stanford Cardinal, she just took a breath and just ran. Little did she know, it would be the beginning of a short but magical college career. She managed to get close to 900 yards in her freshman year, looking to continue that success in the DSFL

DSFL career

S32

Videl had an underwhelming start to her career, as she was limited on her carries and playing time despite high expectations coming out of a dominant Heisman trophy-winning season at UCLA. Videl was also not seen very well due to the lack of a pass-blocking skill required for a running back dominated league, which caused her to slip to the fourth round, to be selected 30th overall by the Norfolk Seawolves. She played in all 14 games that season, where she had 341 rushing yards, a 4.5 yards per run, and she only found the endzone once. Being only a depth piece was a good thing, as she learned from the veteran running backs on a deeply talented Norfolk squadron who would later cruise to the playoffs and do something that Videl failed to accomplish at UCLA, win a championship of any caliber, as the Norfolk Seawolves would win the Ultimini championship that season.

ISFL career

S33

Videl had very low expectations coming into the ISFL draft, as many scouts had her as likely mid-second round pick at the earliest. However, to the shock of many, the New York Silverbacks took a chance on the young player at 14th overall but announced her as a linebacker rather than her natural position at running back. Videl was almost immediately called up to play for the Silverbacks, despite some rumors that she wanted to spend another season down in Norfolk. She proved to be a vital part of a mediocre defense, as she was tied for the top spot for tackles by a rookie linebacker that season and she recorded 4 sacks and one interception, earning her a nomination for the defensive rookie of the year award. The Silverbacks, however, were not a very good team that season, as they had a record of 6-10, missing the playoffs despite winning the Ultimus the year prior. Videl was determined to continue her journey to become a legend.

S34

After having a mediocre rookie season, Videl had some high expectations placed on herself for S34. Videl decided to become more of a coverage linebacker after what happened in the previous season, their defense was awful. The team improved their record going from a 4-12 bottom feeder a year prior, to a respectable 8-8 record, and they barely missed out on the playoffs. Despite the near-miss, the Silverbacks have a high amount of optimism due to a nice young core, and stars such as Valor. Videl had quite a solid season in S34, where she recorded 70 tackles, 4 for a loss of yardage, and 2 forced fumbles and recoveries. Videl also was quite dominant on pass coverage too, where she had 3 interceptions and 6 pass deflections to her name. After the season, Videl decided to test out the open waters of free agency. She had been contacted by 3 different teams, the first of which was the Orange County Otters but they did not provide anything reasonable. The next team was the Honolulu Hahalua, who were looking to get a piece in their pie for a championship run, but they were unable to secure a reasonable deal for Videl. She decided to re-sign with New York for 3 more seasons and to begin a new era for the Silverbacks, without any signs of mediocrity or weakness. With Videl locked up for 3 more seasons, it was time to improve on her pass-rushing abilities for the upcoming football season in a couple of weeks.
