Videl-San (born May 5, 2020) is an American football wide receiver for the Austin Copperheads of the National Simulation Football League (NSFL).

Early years
Videl was born on May 5th, 2020 in West City, a rich part of Tokyo Japan, she was raised by just a father, as her mother left him when Videl was only 7, she was not traumatized by this, in fact, she used it as inspiration to keep fighting for her goals, to be young fighter, and to be a football player in the Japanese Football league, the league’s finest football league, however, much inferior to the national Simulation Football league in america. During her time at Fukushima High School, she put up decent numbers during her first year, having 523 receiving yards, on only 45 catches, and having a measly 3 touchdowns on a rough season that her team finished 1-12, having the worst record in the Japanese high school leagues. She had a stronger season during her sophomore year, which turned out to be her last, she had 1,256 yards, 78 catches, and a league leading 21 touchdowns, because she burned opposing secondaries like she was just eating her breakfast. Unfortunately, she missed her junior and senior season because she tore her ACL during the third game of the season during her junior year, and on the 4th game during her senior year.
College career
Despite the injury suffered by Videl in her senior year, she had to decide on a college to play for in japan, She eventually agreed to play for Orange Star College, the premier college in japan for football, she was redshirted during her freshman season so she did not see playing time during that year so she practiced social distancing by riding the bench that season. Her sophomore season was truly her breakthrough season where she was used as both a running back and a wide receiver just like her idol Ryan Leaf Jr, in America’s National Simulation Football league. She had both 1,101 rushing yards, 1,200 receiving yards and averaging 5 yards per carry and 10 yards per catch, which earned her the award as the best athlete in japan, beating out Chika Fujiwara by 2 votes. Her Junior season ended just like in high school, another ACL tear in the left knee, that made her miss 7 out of 15 games and did not put any good numbers that season because of how bad her quarterback was. Her senior season was truly her breakthrough season, because she had over 2,000 receiving yards and nearly 1,500 rushing yards that led to a national championship.
DSFL Career
After putting up lackluster numbers in the prospect bowl, she was selected 45th overall by the Portland Pythons. During her rookie season, Videl was selected 45th overall by the Portland Pythons, looking to fill up the wide receiver 3 position, as that was a desired need for that season. She had to adjust to the American game which was slightly different to that of the Japanese game, which was definitely less physical and requires less speed to be successful in the Japanese game compared to that of the gridiron of the America game. She struggled right out of the gate, not getting more than 30 yards a game, and also not scoring a touchdown, but that all changed in week 10, which turned out to be her breakout game, where she had 63 receiving yards, and her first touchdown of the season. Videl would finish the season with only X receiving yards, and a surprisingly low 3 receiving touchdowns, which made her draft stock take a bit of a tumble, because most analysts suspected her to be a mediocre wideout at best. It definitely showed with the lackluster season by the Portland pythons, with the team having a disappointing 5 win season and missing the playoffs for the first time in nearly 5 seasons, which showed with a lackluster performance by the defense allowing 300 points, and the offense only scoring 150 points, and allowing the team to miss the playoffs. This did not have an emotional impact on Videl, as she trained her hardest to improve her draft stock to prepare for the national Simulation Football league draft. In Videl’s sophomore season, she was officially drafted by the Austin Copperheads with the 36th overall pick. But, this season turned out to be her best yet. With 57 catches, for 768 yards, averaging 13.5 yards per catch, an increase of 2.3 yards from last season, and 5 receiving touchdowns, which was considered one of the best wide receiver stat lines in the minor leagues at the time. Unfortunately, the team around her was not too good, She had to deal with a rookie quarterback, which hindered her numbers a little bit, When compared to a veteran, she would probably have more than 1000 yards, but that’s with the sim does to you. It also showed with the teams record, another pathetic five win season, And no playoffs, mostly blamed on the lackluster defense, with nothing to show, and a struggling Rocky quarterback, and the running backs getting shut down, by opposing defenses. She also had to stay down in Portland and watch the copperheads, Pull off one of the most crazy miracle runs in playoff history, although not coming out with a championship in the end, with only an eight win season at that time, Which barely got them in to the playoffs, Which made Videl wonder when she was going to be called up to the copperheads roster. This added Some motivation, to help her improve her game and make her a better player Not only on the field but off the field, Next season, she will be a part of the Copperheads roster.

After 2 years of waiting in the developmental Simulation Football league, Videl-San was finally called up to the Austin Copperheads main roster. However, she had to deal with 3 other wide receivers who were high on the team’s depth chart, so she had to prove herself in the upcoming team training camp, to help her climb up the depth chart, Which is a hard task Not only on paper but it also remains true in the international simulation football league. The copperheads that season had very high expectations after making an unexpected deep playoff run to Ultimus 23, coming up short, So the worse the team could do was underachieve, and that’s what exactly happened to the copperheads, coming out 2 games short of a playoff spot due to a packed ASFC, with the best a team could come out of record wise was 9-7, which is the proper definition of mediocrity. The copperheads struggled badly on the defensive side of the ball, so they did a bold move in trading 2 first round picks for Tyler Montain and Maverick Bowie, two young defensive cornerstones. The trades have not worked out well so far for the copperheads, as the team went 7-9, and somehow finished dead last in the division, ending a playoff streak that went back to S18. Videl struggled herself in her first season up in the big leagues, putting up 41 catches for 431 yards and only finding the endzone twice, showing that she has the potential to be a big star, but Is looking to breakout next season.
