Rocky Franklin Jr 8-22-2001 (born August 22, 2001) is an American football cornerback who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for Alabama (UA) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Rocky Franklin Jr. was born on a hot Friday summer night in Dallas, Texas. Growing up wasn't easy but not hard at the same time but what made him happy was playing football. He wasn't an ordinary child, always being pushed to be something greater than himself. His father made him work everyday whether it be his technique or speed so he could become one of the best players to play. He was a great student getting pretty decent grades of course his parents not letting him fail at all. He was able to learn to languages both being English and Spanish. Overall Rocky was a great person and teammate to be around, he always was helpful and did what was right. Durin his Junior Year of highschool an injury occured sidelining him for the rest of the season. During spring and summer time of his Senior year he went to rehab and worked out everyday to regain his strength and speed. When the season began his Senior year he had a total of 10 tackles, 2 for a lost, 1 Int and a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown. This was just the beginning for him entering this season. He went on to have a extradory season allowing him to get many offers from several college some being D1. On his signing day he would go on to choose the University of Alabama to continue his schooling and football career.

College career

Entering college wasn't an easy transition for Rocky. He did struggle his first year with schooling but eventually got the hang of his classes balancing both schooling and football. What he did realize though that majoirty of the players had the same or better talent than him. Only standing at 5'9 190 his freshman year he was the smallest players on the team and in his respected position. He did pretty well during spring training but was #6 on the depth chart not really seeing the field at all. He did go in for ceratin packages but overall sat on the bench. He took his sophmore year in working on his style of game transitioning to nickel cornerback based around his ability to tackle any offensive player that comes through his way. Eventually he would catch the coaches attention when he was making plays left and right during off-season. He entered the season as cornerback two on the depth chart which led to a great season. He continued his success going into junior year but soon his luck would run out. During one of the practices his injured his same leg he did during highschool sitting him out the next two seasons of his college career.
