Satoshi Nakata (中田 敏, Nakata Satoshi, born February 8, 1996) is a retired Japanese professional stock car racing driver. He last competed in Stock Car Online Racing.

Early and personal life
Satoshi was born to Hidetoshi and Kumiko Nakata in Suita, Japan. Hidetoshi was a mechanic and racing enthusiast, while Kumiko taught English. At the age of six, Satoshi was accompanying his father to racing events and driving go-carts himself. By twelve, he was regularly assisting Hidetoshi at the garage. At age eighteen, Satoshi moved to Tokyo to study engineering, and while there, became involved in the street racing scene. Known on the scene as "kuroneko" (black cat), Satoshi became well-known for his tuning skills and earned a small fortune. At the urging of friends, he used a large portion of his earnings to buy a Mazda RX-8 and customised it for racing. Entering races as "Inazuma" (lightning), wearing a luchadore mask, Satoshi gained infamy in Tokyo, winning large sums of money before disappearing back to Osaka when his degree was completed. Before leaving, he sold his customised RX-8 to a fellow racer at a sizeable profit, using the money to buy a Nissan GT-R instead.
Back in Osaka, he returned to work at his father's garage, while customising his GT-R. Soon after returning home, a chance encounter would give Satoshi the opportunity to work for Nismo, Nissan's motorsport and performance division, due to the modifications he had made to his own vehicle. After a trial with Nismo, Satoshi was offered a job, and would later become their primary test driver. After some time with Nismo, an offer arrived from a new racing organisation in the United States, and Satoshi requested permission to leave and participate.

Personal life
Satoshi is known to be an avid baseball fan, and a regular attendee at Hanshin Tigers games. When he moved to the US to compete for SCOR, he took a liking to the Death Valley Scorpions and struck up a friendship with Sebastian Musgrave-Smythe.
