Trent Blackburn (born May 28, 1999) is an American football quarterback who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for Kent State and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Blackburn was born on May 28, 1999 in Cleveland, Ohio, to Robert and Gina Blackburn, their only child. Robert, a hall of fame Arena Football League coach, trained Trent from a young age to be the greatest quarterback the state of Ohio has ever seen. Trent's mother, Gina, is the daughter of Bill Belichick's college roommate, giving her vast knowledge of the game, and how to become one of the most intelligent minds in football. Growing up an Ohio State fan, Trent dreamed of playing for the Buckeyes. However, a gruesome injury in Trent's senior year of high school, resulting in him breaking both of his legs, shattered those dreams immediately. All major division 1 college programs pulled their scholarship offers following the injury, resulting in Trent selecting Kent State University to further his athletic career. During his junior year of high school, Trent set state single-season records in passing yards (4215), passing touchdowns (78), and completion percentage (81.3%). During that season, Trent led St. Edward to a 48-17 win in the D1 Ohio state championship.
