Tight End Eighty-Two (born Travis Scott) (born May 30, 2023) is an American football quarterback for the Austin Copperheads of the International Simulation Football League (ISFL).

Early years

Travis Scott was born in Houston, Texas. He played multiple organized sports as a child, including basketball, baseball, soccer and football. At the age of 9 during a basketball game, Scott got hit in the head by jumping too high, hitting his head on the backboard and giving himself a severe concussion. His first love was not football, but rather Hip Hop. Before ever considering playing football professionally, Scott created 3 studio albums, revolutionalizing the trap and hip hop genre of music. Following his breakup with celebrity model Kylie Jenner, he reconsidered his music career. After dropping his fourth studio album, lots of soul searching, years of therapy and learning who he was as a person, he went back to college at the age of 29 to pursue his professional football career with the University of Texas, where he previously attended but had never graduated without a degree. His new degree was in communications.

College career

As a "freshman" at the young age of 30, Scott was much older than the rest of his competition. Despite only being 5'10" inches, Scott put on 80 pounds of muscle so that he could transition to the tight end position. Throughout his first season at Texas, Scott was used mostly in run and pass blocking as the back up tight end for Texas. He recorded a catch in 3 of the teams 12 games. In week 7, Scott caught his first touchdown, a 10 yard touchdown in the 4th quarter to take the lead against Oklahoma State University. During his sophomore season, Scott was involved in more route running, as he had a catch in every game that season. In week 5 of that season, he set his career high for recieving yards and touchdowns in a game, with 155 yards and 3 touchdowns. Texas beat Texas Tech 35-0 that week.

DSFL Career

2044 DSFL Season (S29)

Eighty-Two was picked up by the Bondi Beach Buccaneers before week 8, and would be thrust into the starting tight end spot for the team. The Buccaneers were pitiful that season, as they finished 2-12 and had the worst record in the DSFL, one game behind the Norfolk Seawolves. Eighty-Two did not make too much of an impact on the season, finishing the season averaging 19 yards per game. The most recieving yards he would have in a game would be during the week 11 33-17 loss against the London Royals, with 41 on 4 receptions. Eighty-Two caught his first career pass in a 36-14 loss to the Portland Pythons, on a 1 yard pass from quarterback Dexter Zayrlen with 1:04 left in the first half. He would finish the game with 8 yards on 3 receptions, and the single touchdown. Eighty-Two would end up declaring for the ISFL draft at the end of the season.

2045 DSFL Season (S30)

Entering the 2045 DSFL season, Eighty-Two had been drafted to the ISFL in the third round by the Austin Copperheads and sent back down for an additional season. He apparently had done poorly in interviews and didn't show up to many of them, and was only taken by Austin because they chased him and tried for a second round. That season, Eighty-Two emerged as a legitimate recieving threat for a Buccaneers team that nearly made the playoffs at a 6-8 record. . In his final DSFL game against the Kansas City Coyotes, Eighty-Two would walk off the Coyotes in overtime with a 17 yard reception, to win the game 40-34. He finished the season with 5 touchdowns and nearly 500 recieving yards. He also would show his dual threat ability as a blocker by not allowing a single sack all season and pancaking 32 defenders, en route to a perfect blocking season for the young tight end. Following the season he would recieve the call up to the Austin Copperheads and would begin playing for them the next season

ISFL Career

2046 ISFL Season (S31)

Eighty-Two was called up to the Copperheads, who would end up finishing at the top of the American Simulation Football Conference with a 12-4 record. In his ISFL debut in week one gainst the Orange County Otters, the Copperheads won 18-15, with Eighty-Two contributed 42 yards on 5 receptions, while pancaking 3 defenders. Eighty-Two would catch his first touchdown in week 11 during a 31-19 win against the New Orleans Second Line, catching a 28 yard pass from Jackie Daytona. He would finish the game with 62 yards. His career high in yards would come against the Baltimore Hawks in a week 15 loss, with 104 yards on 9 catches. He would finish the season with 510 recieving yards on 66 catches, averaging 7.7 yards per reception. He suffered issues with drops, dropping 10 passes throughout the season. Notably, he didn't allow any sacks all season, achieving a perfect blocking season as a rookie.

2047 ISFL Season (S32)

In Eighty-Two's sophomore season, while the Copperheads finished one game worse than the previous season and went from the first to the second seed, he improved his game in all aspects. While he didn't catch any more touchdowns, matching his count from the previous season. He worked in the offseason on his hands and significantly improved his ability to not drop the ball while catching it, going from 10 drops to just 4. Eighty-Two was slightly more involved in the offense with the departure of Videl-San, with all of his recieving stats such as yards and total receptions increasing. In addition to his improvement at reciever, he continued to improve as a blocker, recording 51 pancakes, an increase of 12 from the previous season, and not allowing any sacks once again, resulting in his second perfect season in 2 seasons in the ISFL. The last sack he would give up was in his shortened DSFL rookie season.

2048 ISFL Season (S33) and Switch to Quarterback

In the offseason before the 2048 season, it was announced that Tight End Eighty-Two was going to stop playing tight end and begin training for a transition to quarterback so he could become the next heir to Jackie Daytona, instead of Tobias Worthington III. Eighty-Two would end up sitting out the entire season as he trained intensely for playing his new position. He would not take a single press conference with the media all season, nor would he take any questions. He was not seen besides at Copperheads home games, studying the playbook and how to play the position at the highest level. It later came out that he had been training with ultimus winner, former Copperhead and ISFL hall of famer Easton Cole during his spare time. Cole reportedly insulted him so much he considered quitting the training entirely, but he stayed resilient and showed off significant improvement in practice throughout the season, showing that he was prepared to play quarterback.

2049 ISFL Season (S34) Dual QB season

The Austin Copperheads announced prior to S34 that with the signing of Sam the Onion Man they would be running a dual quarterback system with Eighty-Two and Daytona, where they would split snaps. This was the first time in modern isfl history and the first time in nearly 30 seasons such a system was put in use by a team. The Copperheads would start their season with a close 30-27 loss to the outlaws, where Eighty-Two would throw his first career interception to veteran cornerback Tayshawn Crunk early in the second quarter. Later in the 4th quarter however, Eighty-Two would find free agent acquisition Onion Man for a 63 yard touchdown pass, also the first of his career. He ended the game with a 101 passer rating and 180 passing yards. Overall that season, Austin would miss the playoffs despite one of the top offences in the league. Overall eighty-two was fairly average to below average with a 87 passer rating. He would head into the off-season knowing he would have the full time quarterback spot with the retirement of Daytona.

2050 ISFL Season (S35) First Season as Full-Time QB

In S35, eighty-two wouldn’t show much of a statistical improvement, just an increase of volume as a result of the increased snaps. He did manage to bring his interception rate down about 1%, and finished 4th in total yardage, 1 yard behind third place. The copperheads, having lost Onion Man to San Jose and traded Bayley Cowabunga to Honolulu, finished with the second overall pick in the draft with a 5-11 record. The copperheads started the season off abysmally, with a 1-9 record and the lone win being a 7 point win over New York. In the week 11 game against New York, the start of a 4 game winning streak, Eighty-Two would put up 325 passing yards, 3 touchdowns and no interceptions on 24/28 completions en route to a 44-21 rout of New York and a near perfect 150.7 passer rating which would be his best game of the season. He would impress again in the next game against San Jose with a 125 passer rating, but would not be as big of a performer in their next 2 wins, before Austin ended their season with losses to Honolulu and Arizona.

2051 ISFL Season (S36)

Eighty-Two would lead the Austin copperheads to a 7-9 record and some impressive wins during the season, with an overtime win over eventual ultimus champion hahalua and a win over playoff bound Yellowknife. Eighty-Two would lead the entire league in passing attempts, completions, yards and finished third in completion percentage. Despite this the touchdowns didn’t really come, however he did form a connection with Rookie receiver zaphod beeblebrox, putting him in a position to win offensive rookie of the year by targeting him lots, resulting in him finishing third in catches amongst all receivers and first in receiving yards amongst rookies, good enough for 13th best in total. In addition this was the second straight season Johnny Patey lead the ISFL in receiving yards with Eighty-Two throwing to him. Austin outperformed all expectations and nearly made the playoffs, and yet also would finish with a solid 4th overall pick to continue building around TE82 as he approached his twilight of his career.
