Tommy Sacamano (born October 3, 2013) is an American football offensive lineman who is currently unsigned by a professional team. He played college football for University of Louisiana-Monroe (ULM) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Tommy Sacamano was born in Denver, Colorado to Dolores and Robert Sacamano II. He began his football playing career when he was in the first grade, playing offensive and defensive tackle for various little league teams. He chose to attend Livingston High School, which had a fledgling football program of only 3 years. Tommy quickly became a force on the team, helping lead the way for one of the state's best offenses. His freshman season, he mostly played in a reserve role on varsity. During his sophomore season, he was given a chance to start after several disappointing performances by the offensive line. The offense saw major improvements after he was named starter, making the playoffs for the first time in school history. The team had their best season his junior year, appearing in the championship game but losing 41-35 to JFK High School. The team took a step back his senior season, losing in the state semi-final round.

College career

Sacamano was not highly recruited coming out of high school, with only 3 D-1 schools offering him scholarships. He chose to play football for the University of Louisiana Monroe Warhawks. He earned his first start in his sophomore season, after senior Steve Lomez was suspended for disruptive conduct. His junior year, the Warhawks were able to win 8 games, including an upset victory over 15th ranked Auburn. They were able to reach a bowl game for the 2nd time in team history, beating Temple 28-17 in the Perkins Bowl. In his senior season, the offense broke many school records including points scored, yards gained and margin of victory. They finished with the best record and team history at 10-2, and the team's very first Sun Belt championship. The year ended with a loss to Washington in the Cotton bowl. He started every game his junior and senior years, allowing just 7 sacks.
