Early years

"Tom Taylor was born In Vancouver, BC, Canada. Tom was raised by Mother Tina Taylor in the Vancouver area until she got remarried to a man named Jack Anderson, which led them to move and buy a home in Gainesville, Florida. Tom’s father, Jack, loved football, and he taught Tom everything he needed to know about it. He also trained him daily into the player he is today. For most of Tom’s childhood, he played Football and Track, but he ultimately chose football by the time he got into high school.

Tom attended Gainesville High School and played Varsity football for them. During his time there, Tom was able to three State championships. Tom averaged over 60 tackles and 4 Interceptions every season as a safety. His senior year was his best year in which he was able to rack up over 100 tackles, eight interceptions, three sacks, and three force fumbles. Tom's stands out ability and performance on the field didn’t go unnoticed as he was ranked top five in the nation for one of the best safeties."

College career

After a successful High school career, Tom Taylor was able to carry that momentum into his college career, where he played for the University of Florida. He made a big name for himself with his massive hits, which he gives thanks to Sean Taylor, who he modelled his game off of. Tom would play varsity football for two years and appear in 24 games. He led the league with a career-best 12 interceptions while recording 150 tackles, seven forced fumbles, and five quarterback sacks. In addition, Tom had a season-high of four Interceptions in one game, and he was able to return one for a touchdown to win secure a win over the Gator's fierce rivals of Alabama. Tom's outstanding play on defense was able to help his school win back-to-back championship in the two years he spent there. After Tom Taylor staller two-year career in college and the tremendous ability he showed to everyone when he was playing on the field, He believed that he possessed the skills and ability to strive in the DFSL, which would bring him one step closer to achieving his dreams of being a starter in the ISFL.

2048 DSFL Season

Tom Taylor was picked up on waivers by the Minnesota Greyducks with less than half of the regular season games left in The DSFL. When Tom arrived, he was moved To the linebacker position due to better options at the safety position, which led him to struggle in his first game and due to his lack of speed. This Fueled Tom’s Drive, and by the second game, Tom became the number one safety for the team by earning a total of 149 TPE to improve his game. He was also able to earn his first interception and sack that game. Although Tom’s time with the Greyducks was short, he was able to be a great defensive leader for the team and help lead them to the Ultimini game. Even though they didn’t win, he was able to show a tremendous amount of skill and perseverance. Hopefully, with the short amount of games he played, Tom hopes it was enough to show scouts from the ISFL what he’s capable of.
