Soupy McBrain (born January 8, 1995) is an American football linebacker for the Kansas City Coyotes of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). He played college football for University of Nebraska and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years
Soupy McBrain was born to a hardworking farming couple in Nebraska. Soupy was a standout in football from the moment he started playing. From peewee to his high school graduation he was constantly the MVP of his team and more often than not, the entire league. Soupy attended Omaha North High School and was a 4 year starter on both sides of the ball and 4 year letter winner. While he was a bruiser as a tight end he had a real talent at the lineback position. His talent earned him scholarships from the NCAA's top programs including; Alabama, Ohio State and Clemson, Soupy eventually narrowed his choices to Nebraska and Ohio State but his love for his home state kept him in Nebraska.
College career
Soupy quickly climbed up the Nebraska depth chart eventually earning the starting role as a true freshmen. Through his entire college career Soupy fpund the same success that he had in high school. Winning linebacker of the year his sophomore and junior season Soupy etched himself in the Nebraska record books. In his senior year however during the game against Iowa he sustained a season ending concussion. Due to his injury Soupy went undrafted and found his new home with the Coyotes via the waiver wire.
