Son Kakarot Goku (born April 16, 1978) is an American football defensive end for the Sarasota Sailfish of the National Simulation Football League (NSFL).

Early years

Goku is a Saiyan who was born on Planet Vegeta, three years before its destruction. While still an infant, his father sent him off to Planet Earth just before Freiza blew up their home planet. After landing on Earth, the young Saiyan was found in the woods by an old man named Gohan and became his adopted grandson. Grandpa Gohan gives him the name Son Goku. When found by Gohan, he was unruly and aggressive, wanting nothing to do with him, although this was seemingly only when worked up as when initially meeting Gohan, he quickly took a liking to the old man. However, after the head injury that caused him to lose his instinctual aggression, Goku became well-known for his energetic and caring personality traits he inherited from his mother Gine. He was taught to be respectful to others by Grandpa Gohan. He takes most situations in stride, he rarely lets things get him worked up. His Grandpa Gohan taught him martial arts and told him about such things as the city and people, as they lived in a very remote place with no communication with other people. Gohan one day discovered Goku's full moon transformation, and thus told him to never look at the full moon. However, one night Goku did, and he transformed into a Great Ape, causing him to unknowingly kill Gohan. After his grandpa's death, Goku stayed at his home, carrying out his daily life of survival. From a young age, Goku developed the impression that his birth parents abandoned him in the mountains as a baby, leaving him for Grandpa Gohan to discover. He meets his first female, Bulma and she invites him on a quest to find the seven Dragon Balls as Goku had the four star ball and wouldn't let anyone touch it. From there he eventually meets Master Roshi who would become his martial arts master and teach him the famous kamehameha wave.

College career

Goku never went to college. Furthermore, he's never received any sort of formal education. With an IQ of roughly 75, he is probably the most simple player in the DSFL and NSFL. The only thing he could be considered smart at is fighting.

Season 21

Goku saw himself claimed by Myrtle Beach near the end of the 2036 (S21) regular season. He never saw any game time but used this time to learn how to play the game. During the playoffs he shared some of his ki with the team and aided the Buccaneers in their Ultimini run.

Season 22

Entering the league as an unknown player and no college football experience, most teams opted to pass on him in the DSFL entry draft. He would be selected round 2, pick 7 at 15th overall by the Kansas City Coyotes. Goku would go on to have an amazing season, quite possibly the best of his career for the foreseeable future. Throughout the season he was named the Coyote's defensive player of the week on multiple occasions. Having been gutted by call ups over the offseason there wasn't big hopes for the Coyotes, but Goku still gave it his all. Sadly the team wasn't able to make use of his great play as Kansas City gave up the most points of all DSFL teams. Goku led all defensive linesmen with 85 tackles, the next highest being 53. He tied for fourth most tackle for loss and tied for second most sacks of all defensive positions. With these statistics he would go on to win the DSFL Defensive Lineman of the Year award, and receive a nomination for Defensive Player of the Year. The league received massive backlash when Goku wasn't nominated for Defensive Rookie of the Year. There are a couple suspected theories for him not being chosen. One is that due to how great of performance he had, and already being an Ultimini winner, the award committee didn't realize he was still a rookie. Another is that Goku is too old to be considered a rookie by the book. As a middle aged man it's been thought that he didn't embrace the true spirit of being a rookie.
