Rigby Raccoon (born January 6, 2000) is an American football tight end for the Kansas City Coyotes of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Rigby the Raccoon was born in a trashcan located near a park in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He didn't go to school but instead would play football with the other animals located inside of the park. Early on Rigby was smaller then the others at the park and had to grow strong and fast to be able to avoid bullying from others. Once Rigby hit his growth spurt, he was recruited by the park team. As he grew older he eventually Joined the official park team and became their tight end. Rigby became friends with a bird named Mordecai as well as other employees that he worked with at the park. Rigby excelled at his position because of his ability to move quickly up the field and his ability to muscle passed his opponents. Rigby finds the advantage of being both a strong and fast player to be an advantage to his play style as an overmatch against cornerbacks and even safeties where he can keep up with them in speed, and outmuscle them in almost every competition. Rigby also enjoys his offensive line and thrives at blocking when he isn't receiving on a certain play. The run game is especially where rigby excels at blocking and looks to create open opportunities for his backs to take off and move up the field while he provides blocking for them as well.

College career

The park would generally be considered the "college" Rigby went too, since he didn't actually go to school, and instead worked at the park while playing for their football team. Rigby early on wasn't utilized that often for the team, but eventually after he finally reached the end of his growth spurt, he was sought as part of both the blocking and receiving duties for the park team he played on. Rigby was able to go for 500 yards and 10 touchdowns in his first season. In the second season with the park team, it was clear that Rigby was starting to move above the competition he was facing and was more talented then his teammates. After a 1000 yard season with 22 touchdown, Rigby decided he needed to start looking elsewhere for his talents to be recognized fully. Rigby decided that he would join the DSFL midseason and try to make it on a semi-professional level while gaining the attention of NSFL GM's and scouts alike. Rigby believes that he could be in the top 3 rounds of the draft, but with his position and the history of his cousin Stuart Little had in the league, there's a chance he could fall, but for now he hopes that moving on from the park was worth it.

Professional career

DSFL Career

After Being placed on waivers During the 2037 DSFL season, Rigby Raccoon Was claimed by the Kansas City Coyotes as their 2nd Tight End to go along with Tree Gelbman on the Offensive Line. Having another tight end on the team meant that Rigby would not be seeing a lot of action and would more then likely take the brunt of the offensive line duties while his position mate did the hard work. Rigby was happy to meet his new teammates when he joined the team and quickly was able to make a strong connection with the coaches and staff on the team. During the season, Rigby wasn't able to reach the end zone at all, but still managed to pick up 78 yards in the run game and and even a few rushing yards to boot. Taking on the offensive line duties, he was able to a position leading 26 pancakes in his shortened rookie season of only 12 games. While he wasn't able to make the playoffs that season with Coyotes, he hopes to come back for the 2038 DSFL season and make it all the way next time. While Rigby was developing with his team, it gave scouts a chance to watch his performances on the field ahead of the 2038 NSFL draft. Many scouts reached out to Rigby during the season preceding the draft to get a feel for his motives and desires in the NSFL. Rigby Raccoon looks to become the main tight end in the upcoming season as his teammate Tree is called up to the NSFL.

After a rough starting campaign in the 2037 DSFL Season, Rigby Raccoon truly came into form for the 2038 DSFL season as a true offensive threat that helped supplement the Coyotes passing game. With the ability to play all 14 games partially between the Tight End Position and the Fullback/Flexback position, Rigby put up career numbers in everything from receptions, yards per reception, total yardage, and touchdowns. With over 650 yards and 2 touchdowns to his name, Rigby truly showed that he was the dominant tight end in the league and was a step ahead of others at the position offensively. While the offensive line work slowed down during the season because of Rigby's move to run more routes during the game. He did keep up an alright amount of sacks but was noticeably less active and in turn providing far less pancakes and general work on the offensive line. After the regular season had finally come to a close, with the help of a great defense and some clutch offensive moments, the Coyotes where able to go to the playoffs which was the first time for Rigby. While the team ultimately did not win it all, they did make it to the Ultimini Cup Final. With the help of this playoff campaign as well as a dominate regular season for Rigby Raccoon, he was able to earn the eyes of the awards committee and won the 2038 DSFL Tight end of the Year award which he now proudly displays in his room. Rigby's NSFL team plans to keep him down for one more season in the DSFL where he has a chance to repeat his 2038 campaign.

Rigby Raccoon was drafted 33rd overall in the 2038 NSFL draft to the Arizona Outlaws.
